My friend
I need prayer in a certain area of my life right now. My best friend from high school... I don't know where to begin. She went to college a year before me, dropped Christianity by the end of her first semester, and became a completely different person. Since then, it has always pained me to talk with her, because she has lost all her joy in life, and seems so desolate, yet, keeps up a front to hide it. So, I get the front. Everything is superficial now, and we really haven't had a good conversation in probably 2 years. She now has great animosity towards me, because she feels like I dropped her as a friend, and I only wanted to date her, which isn't true, but there is no explaining that to her now. Just pray that something will be restored. I've been trying to get at least back to a friendship level again, but she doesn't reciprocate because she is hurt. I think I've failed as a witness, but pray that God works in spite of me. I need it. Thanks all, and sorry for the length.
