cyborg part for cats

I had an excellent idea last night for the face thing for cats (zero wing, all your base are belong to us) take some really fine metal mesh line the sides with grey felt (so no poking or cutting and to give it a more defined look) then put wires and such on it. And for attaching it to my face i figured might be able to attach it with some kind of string or such (like a pirate eyepatch but hiding it in the collar and wig)

what do you think and does anyone have any suggestions.
