Only stories I know about that has to do with escaping from Siberia involves..... Cannibalism.

Siberia is quite the cold wasteland with little to no natural food covering it's wast tracts. So if you are going to escape from Siberian jails, yeah, best team up with some unsuspecting person, like Dante has done.
