Clash of the Titans

I saw this film with a friend today, and would probably give it 6 out of 10.

CG and effects are not bad, but the storyline was quite plain. I should've played Titan Quest on the PC instead. :D

Just saw this movie tonight and it was pretty good.

The plot is good enough, though the characters fall a bit flat. It's to be expected, I suppose. Half of the good guys get killed pretty early on and have zero personality.

My biggest gripe is that Hollywood has some sort of love affair with the shaky-cam, and they need to drop it, as soon as possible. I hate, hate, HATE shaky-cam fight sequences. I like to be able to see what is going on in my action sequences. It isn't as entertaining if you can't tell who is who and what they're doing. It isn't any more realistic and it needs to stop.

Other than that, it's good. The Kraken looked pretty sweet.

Am I the only one that thought Kraken = Orga-

-'s secret love child or something?

Haven't seen yet but my friends said practically the same Nate did. I may just see this on Netflix when it comes out instead.

+1 !!

Yes, what good are action scenes if all we see are jumbled flashes of colours and lights?

I enjoyed it, I liked the design of Charon. I'm not too picky about cameras and acting (everyone seems to say the characters were flat...I thought they were fine lol), so I guess my opinion isn't really the best one. I also liked the throwback to the original with the robot owl.
