[/color]Author's Notes are below text. Haven't posted a story on here in ages!! Well, technically, this isn't on here. I did it this way so I can:

1. Keep track of all my submissions of stories on the Internet
2. Edit to my heart's desire, unlike what happened with Aegis Emblem
3. Get some views on my heavily underappreciated dA submission of this story. Not a literature-centered place =D, but that's a ridiculously old complaint for another day.

Critiques, opinions are welcome and appreciated!!

That's an interesting beginning! It doesn't really seem like a complete short story, so maybe you can continue it. I like the lines that are like her conscious shouting at her (that's what it's supposed to be, right? Because that's the only ambiguous part to me).

This. I'd love to see a reworking of Aegis. I really liked where you were going with it.

Yeh, I tend to write incomplete short-stories *sigh*. When I do write the ends (I think the only time I wrote a complete end was in The Black Forest), it just doesn't seem right. Feels like I accelerate towards it, and then I don't want to let go.

Hm, I'm torn between whether or not it should be her consciousness, or another perspective.

As for Aegis, I wrote a prologue for the revamp, intending to continue it in NaNo 08. I bombed on day-two! Maybe I will upload it on dA and link it in this thread, too, along with the Crimson prologue, too. I hate prologues, don't know why I make 'em. The thing about Crimson is that it will get progressively violent.
