my x girlfriend needs prayer... badly

Postby Lightbringer » Tue Mar 16, 2004 4:57 pm

what can I say, but that the devils a liar. and he trys to ensnare everyone he can. We all have different lures that work on us. Sometimes we've had things pounded in our heads for so long we start to believe them. Well my ex-girlfriend. she is in great need of prayer because she's listening to those lies and she's believeing them. She's believeing she's worthless, and she thinks she's rebelling agenst the things she knows are right, by her own admitence, she wants to be rebellious. People used to do things while they were younge thinking that they can always come back later. but I do not believe time is a luxurie we have anymore. And we're not garenteed our next breath to begin with. I know this is kind of long and maby slightly rambleish. but the problem is there and I know that if there is agreence within the body then that thing that we pray for will be taken care of. If anyone will join their faith with mine, i believe God will honor it and will work in her life. (thank you to whoever helps)

I'll be praying.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

I will certainly pray for her - your words touched me deeply, even if they "rambled" a bit. *smiles tenderly* Remember, just be there for her - that's all anyone can ever do.

Good luck to you both. *~_~*
