I would imagine being limited would be somewhat more difficult than putting yourself as a characer in live action. However it's nowhere near as hard as acting, as your physical appearance matters as much as your voice. In voice acting, you don't have to worry if your eye itches or you make an odd face. Or having to have certain actions and whatnot. Or having to have to make a weird face or expression because all that is being captured is voice/tone and nothing more.

And also, being limited might also make things easier, depending who your character is. Likewise being a character (in live action) that is NOTHING like you at all (a polar opposite) would be challenging. But those really depend on the persons.

Well, maybe I'm just a natural with acting, I dunno, but I find all those things to be rather easy to do.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

There's no going back now, to those tender days when you held me in your arms.

Right. So do I. But the fact that you have to do them unlike a voice actor makes it more demanding.

.......

Unless one has personal acting experience, deciding whether one form of acting is more difficult than another seems like pure speculation. I suspect both types have their own set of challenges, if not more than the other. Some voice actors do pull facial expressions and act out in order to produce a certain tone that they need to deliver. That's all I have to say about this particular discussion.

As for the original post, I have more exposure to movie stars but I acknowledge the hard work that voice actors put into their jobs. I would imagine the former would be more well-known for reasons already stated.
