I know, I'm new here there's probably a thread dedicated to YYH but I went back at least 10 pages and didn't see a thing! NOT A THING! (boy would jedi be angry)
So here it is, my wittle thread for Yu Yu Hakusho and those who wish to sw00n and chat about our beloved reikai tentei and the rest of the gang.

and just to make one thing clear: HIEI IS MINE!!!!! :evil:

Eh, there is a search option on the boards. You can find things from all the way back to the forum's creation using it.

But anyway, I've only seen one episode of the anime but I've read the manga quite a bit and enjoy it.

YYH is the only anime my brother and I share lol but he isn't into anime much - which could be a good or bad thing. I love Hiei *slaps self* but who doesn't?

Yu Yu is so awesome. I've only seen what CN has played though. It's taking them forever to get new episodes! :mutter:

I really wanna see more of Youko Kurama too. My friend is totally obsessed with him. But Hiei. :hug:

I'll be different and say that I like Yusuke the best. :grin:

I like the series, although I am kind of frustrated by it, because I have watched the Saint Beast stuff 3 times now, and missed the end of the fight between Yusuke and Suzaku! Ahh!!! How does it end?? :mutter:

Interesting fact: My Japanese roommate has the same name as a person in the show. I won't tell you who though.

that's weird...I could have sworn there were some YYH threads around..But thanks for being considerate and using the search options before starting a new thread....^^

Aside from that, Yu Yu Hakusho was the first step towards changing me into an anime lover. My favourite bishies would be Hiei, Yusuke and Touya. Kuwabara is a great character even if he isn't really as good-looking.

I usually don't like the protagonists of most anime/manga titles but Yusuke is quite the exception for me. He's rough, unrefined and outrageous (takes some crazy risks) but he's really got a big heart. *hugs Yusuke* I really enjoyed the character development and the fighting parts. I only don't agree with some spiritual aspects of the show, but they're pretty minor to me.

ya, there's some spiritual aspects that are kinda quirky, but I usually try to parallel YYH with the bible as much as I can.

I watched all the TV episodes of Yuyu Hakusho as well as the two movies. ALthough some parts may be a bit gory or violent, it's a nice anime.

dillian: yeah, it is kinda gory, but I LOVE gore! (and actually, I only have the first two mangas (not shonen jump magazine!) of YYH right now so I have yet to see the part T.T Or maybe I already saw it on tv....) I must go ponder this... *ponder* :bang:

saw very little of the tv series, but i played the old GB game and hiei's still my best fighter. especially when i summon the dragon...friggin' good damage. ^^

I have seen the entirety Yuyu Hakusho for about five times already. And that scene in Key_blade's avvie is one of the funniest stuff about Hiei I ever saw. :lol:

love YYH, but I just can't stomach the CN version. A lot of dubs REALLY annoy me, and this is no exception, so I only watch it when I'm desperate now. ^^; I'd love to get my hands on the subs so I can hear what all the characters really sound like.

that's amazing 0.0 there's also this one picture of Hiei that reminds me of Tasuki from Fushigi Yugi (facial stucture wise) If I find it, I'll give you all the link....but ya.

yyh infrequently asked question: How is Hiei's hair able to stand up on end, have a white star burst, and be blue at the tips naturally? (even if he IS a demon..)

well probably the guy who created yyh thought that there is thousands upon thousands of anime characters with spiky super-saiyan-ish hair do. so he thought of a plan to make hiei stand out, and so the white hair-blue tips came about...

Hiei:...no comment.

Hiei is a fire demon. Sometimes in anime the hair depicts who you are. Note that Hiei's hair kinda looked like 'fire' and is black. (which we all knew was the color of his fire.)

anyway, Hiei reminded me a lot of Vegeta of DBZ... y'know the attitude, the height and the hair. :sweat:
