I tried to register on MiniTokyo, but now I'm very confused. What's the free-download-quota thingie? Do they like....charge you after a few downloads or something? ^ ^;; I couldn't find a help section, so I was wondering if any of you knew how the site worked.

Things may have changed since I was a member (I quit over a year ago) but the way it worked out was that you got "credits" for commenting on people's work, posting in the forums, posting walls/scans, or just flat out spending time at the site. The more credits you got the more downloads you could use--and I think if you gave money to the site you got some, too.

Yeah, I really disliked the snobbish attitude I saw there. It's like, if you didn't spend over 80 hours of work and did all this crazy photoshop stuff, your work was sub-par and likely to be deleted by Chii. In my opinion, simple doesn't mean subpar, and how are you ever going to get better if you never start rough?

Same thing happened to me, Ashley. They deleted all my wallpapers, and the only reason I return is for some quality scans I can't find anywhere else. It's the LAST place I go for pictures, because I hate the attitudes of the people there. e.e;
