Pray for Shatterheart and MillyFan

Postby Omega Amen » Mon Feb 02, 2004 10:50 pm

I just read the Special Announcement on Shatterheart's situation and MillyFan's banning.

Although, I am quite new here, I am greatly saddened by what has transpired.

I felt it was appropriate that there should be a thread here for prayer.

....

Let us pray.

I be praying for you both and Bobtheduck too. It's still kinda hard to believe that something like this would happen here though.

Omega Amen, to have posted this prayer request shows considerable insight. Once again, I am grateful you have joined us. This has already been an issue I've been praying for, but with recent developments I'll be praying more extensively.

I'll pray anyway, but I really have no idea what's going on.

I think we've all been thrown into a state of shock. This is still the real world, or at least dealing with people in the real world. Fallen people, like me and you, who need a Savior because we are sinners. Sometimes this can be much more fleshed out and much more real, as in this case.

I'll be in prayer for the three of you, and CAA - that how the others who here sort of bystanders will handle this situation in a way that would glorify God and build up our brothers and sisters in Christ. I'm realizing how much I appreciate this site.

Of course.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

I went back and read the announcement. Yes, I will definitely be praying. I hope it can all get straightened out quickly.

Knives, and to anyone else with similar perspective, this is a prayer thread only. Please, your opinions on the situation only, not on the person(s) involved.

Well praise be to God, I have been cleared of all charges. I was contacted this morning by the cheif of police and he let me know that after hearing from the staff and all...he saw no need to investigate. He saw that it was all just some story Milly cooked up. If this issue has caused anything...it has been a bit of a wake up call to me on giving my location...if anyone has there town listed in there profile or under there avatar...change it. Take it out. While I wish I could trust CAA is has become clear I cannot. If someone ends up with a personal beef against you they can go after you with nasty little lies. So just a heads up to everyone. In any case I need to thank everyone...everyone that posted threads in the prayer room...that posted on the other thread...and that PM'd me. It means the world to me that everyone cares enough to get in contact and let me know there praying. Thanks guys...makes fighting fights like this worth while if its to come home and be an Admin on CAA. I will also ask as I asked on the other thread...please...nobody get to personal attacks on Milly. Its not Christian and its not right...if you feel the need to comment on the situation, please like Shoo said...comment on the situation not the people. Thanks again everyone.

I'm in shock as well and saddened that something like this took place.

I'll be praying for the three of you.

(Hoping I will not get in trouble for saying this. It is something I really mean. Just... **** this whole situation. I think it is appropriate to say certain words when one really means it).

Will pray for you both... but... definitely don't forget MillyFan just because she cannot come here anymore. I know her very well from IM conversations and talk to her all the time... She is a lot like me, emotionally. I'ms eriously afraid she might try to kill herself over this.

Talking to her now...

Oh, double post...

In defense of MillyFan... she really didnt' think she was lying. She was seriously afraid. She misinterpreted a post. I wish she would have talked to me before doing this. She said something about being afraid of this to me, but I thought I had talked her out of doing something like this, and I didn't think she seriously would. I have have brought up that post where Shatter was talking about how he hopes he never has to take a life (in self defense, Anti-Gun thread, I think).

This just.. blows me away.

Just as a repeat: even though I appreciate Haibane's attempt to shed additional light on the situation, this is a prayer thread, not for discussion.

Forgive me if I have no sympathy for someone that acts in ignorance then pleads the innocent card. If she gave a crap about the situation she would have emailed, PM, or IMd me. She did none of that. She wanted to get at me for things that have happend in the past. I do not think she has the slightest clue how serious a game she is playing. Lieing to the police is very stupid. They do not like having there time wasted. I had to spend most of my day dealing with issues that she caused because of her "mistake" I trusted that I could put info in my profile about where I lived...I trusted that nobody on the site would abuse that. And someone did. Things like this go on a permenent record....true or not. If someone makes a complaint it is filed. So your little ignorant lie Millyfan has done more damage then you can fathom. I'm sorry if this comes off as harsh....but I will not sit around and defend my actions and get labled the bad guy on this. There is no excuse for what she did...it was childish and wrong. I am hoping now that these threads can die down and ride the wave into the archives.
