Well, the first one that comes to my mind is Claudio Sanchez. XD I can also think of Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Regina Spektor, Chris Carrabba, Sherri *last name that I don't know* from Eisley, and Imogen Heap. Oh, and Scott Stapp. XD

EDIT: I just thought of another. Tiny Tim. *ROFL*

Carmen, no doubt, has a recognizable voice(thank the Lord he's no longer making music as far as I know). Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Steven Tyler, and Johnny Cash are all highly recognizable.

Cedric Bixler-Zavala of At the Drive-In/The Mars Volta
Geoff Rickley of Thursday (though, more notable for how Geoff always sounds about to run out of breath and really can't sing that well, as much as I like Thursday)
Jack White of the White Stripes
Anthony Green of Saosin/Circa Survive
Dave Elkins/Jimenez/Whatever the Heck He's Calling Himself These Days of Mae.

Oh, and Corrie, what you're looking for is Sherri Dupree.
I'm also going to second Imogen Heap.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.
