Post your anime ideas and what studio you'd like to do them.
Here's one of mine:
Elfquest
Studio: Bones
Based on the self-published comic of the same name, the anime would follow the story of Cutter and his band of elves as they find a new place to live when their village is destroyed.

I don't know what kind of story I'd make, but I'd definitely have Kyoto Animation do it. Their astounding handling of Haruhi Suzumiya and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu turned me into a Kyo-Ani fangirl.

I'd make an anime out of The Traveller's Guide -- after I finish making the game, that is.

I'd want them to make an anime out of Enders Game. The kids are so old and young at the same time that I think it would be perfect.

The Foundation Trilogy (the original three books, not the ones from the 80's and 90's). Those books are some of the best sci-fi books ever written, and while I doubt the series will ever be made, it would rock.

I'd feel terribly tempted to say a Narnia anime. With blood. Because the "Peter, wipe your sword" scene made no sense in the bloodless film. >_< Plus, it adds weight to the battle.

I also think an anime based on Final Fantasy VIII would be cool.

Better ideas pending.

Samurai Cat begs for anime treatment. I'd consider Quo Vadis, but I think it needs a full blown R-rated live action treatment to capture the full effect

There already is a Final Fantasy VIII anime. It is just a short OVA though, and I admit a 26 episode series would be great.

No... Samurai Cat. A series by Mark E Rogers. Filled with horrid puns and parodies of books and movies. Mostly out of Print except for "Samurai Cat Goes to Hell" which is a parody of Dante's Inferno

Elfquest as an anime FTW.

Myself, I'd like to see an animated version of Les Miserables. Preferably by Gonzo. Like how they did Gankutsuou or something.

Take the premise of the movie "Good Morning, Vietnam":

An Air Force Corporal is stuck in a strange foreign land, strange people, different from what he knew before. He's a Disc Jockey for <insert name of some military broadcasting service>, and has to follow orders by a brownnosing Lieutenant, a hateful Sgt. Major, and a General who absolutely think the DJ is the bee's knees.

---------------
Think Irresponsible Captain Tylor, with a Broadcaster for a main character.
Studio: Big West

Changes: Language would get toned down, biting sarcasm turned up.
Episodes: If you can stretch it, 26.

Production IG would definitely do some good stuff to this one.
What would be even cooler is if the dubbed version of your anime got Patrick Steward to play the character he played in the original movie again. (Yep, he was in it. For about four scenes or so)

I've never seen the original version, but having Patrick Stewart playing Gurney Halleck would be pretty sweet.

I want an anime of Dominion or Deadline by Randy Alcorn. I think Bones might do a good job... it would have to be a semi realistic studio with a good grasp on the modern world, not a studio that focuses on sci fi or fantasy.

I'd also like to see one based on Stephen King's It. Just thought of it. That would probably be really creepy!

Are you sure you don't mean the Final Fantasy VII OVA, Last Order? Because, while I've never heard anything about a Final Fantasy VIII OVA, I certainly would love to see one. XD But yeah, I agree on an FF8 anime. :D

I'd like to see a completely animated version of Final Fantasy 6... Even without the 3d stuff, they managed to give a movie feel to a sprite game! I mean the juxtaposition of throwing the flowers off the castle in the opera with throwing herself off the cliff in the world of ruin... That has to be (taken together, since the second alludes to the first) one of my favorite videogame scenes of all time (my favorite being the end of Metal Gear Solid 3) and this was before CDs allowed them to store copious amounts of information... To see it realized in full anime form (26 eps, maybe more... 39?) would be incredible... Unfortunately, it wasn't all that popular in Japan, even though it's infinitely better than that overrated FF7...

It would be very difficult to make a FF anime because of what everyone wears

Huh? The costumes in FF8 are very doable... They are relatively simple. In 6... I'd rather see those old CG models resurrected and done entirely with them, or maybe improved models even... Of course, if it were done in full motion CG, then that "e" rated game may become a high PG-13 or R rated movie (even the hint of suicide usually earns things higher ratings)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

An interpretation of Le Miserables set in (where else?) Japan during the (when else?) Tokugawa period.

I had this planned out in some detail at one point, but I've forgotten most of what I came up with since then.

Edit: SirThinks2Much is way ahead of me. :thumb:

My other choice would be a remake of Record of Lodoss War, with all the best modern animation techniques and at least 26 episodes so the story can get told properly - as opposed to the original, the finale of which seemed to operate on the idea that if you don't have time to wrap up all the plot elements you began, you should throw in a whole bunch more unexplained plot elements and hope people will forget about the old ones in the confusion.
