What are some song which are bad to study to (ie. don't motivate you)?

College Kids - Relient K
Chem 6a - Switchfoot
Letting Go - Antiskeptic - "School was way too ordinary for him..."
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.

Most any chaoscore stuff...It's not that it doesn't motivate me or anything, but it switches around so much it's harder to pay attention to anything else.

Generally instrumental music is the only type that I can listen to while studying. Otherwise I tend to catch myself lapsing into daydreaming/zoning fests for half hours at a time >_<

I also find that instrumental-only stuff (that is, no singing) is the best for me to study to -- but especially the softer, gentler stuff that doesn't have a lot of action to it. ^_^ Otherwise it's just too distracting... >_>;

Anything that I want to sing along with is a bad study song for me. XD I usually don't study with music at all, but when I do, I always have a hard time paying attention if it's a catchy song with lyrics. :lol: So, if I ever do study with music, it'll be some instrumental something-or-other. :thumb:

Probably the truly depressing gothic rock, which will wipe out your enthusiasm for continuing to study, like A Day in the Stark by Lycia.

If I listen to Norma Jean, I tend to forget studying. Or volume control.
