Ahhh childhood sitcoms, how I missed thee! Actually I was on a bit of a BMW (heh great acronym) binge last summer... did you know they made 2 different endings? Saw them both: one includes flashbacks and is an hour special the other doesn't....

Anyhow, with TV shows I watched, saw The Price is Right this morning with my grandma... with more knowledge, too bad that half the money earnings has to be given up to the government down there :/

Someone gave me "Firefly" which I'm working my way through very slowly and is pretty good, though I find myself wishing it was more graphically violent.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice a total "anime" feel to it in style

Right now? Nothing. When fall shows return? Crossing Jordan. That's the only show I'll sit down and watch through(although I took a break from it for about a year... If anyone knows what happened to Jordan's dad, PM me, please). And I watch a lot of cartoons when I go to my grandparent's house.

My brother just rented the British version of The Office from the video store. He's so used to the Steve Carell version that it's weirding him out a bit, so now I'm curious ^^

Linksquest, out of curiosity, how are you catching up on Lost Season 2? I have a friend that missed the last seven episodes and I've been trying to get her up to speed. Couldja maybe PM me? Pleeeease?

Sadist. lol No, but Firefly is quite good. If you want more action, rent Serenity, Firefly's movie. But I'd finish the series first.

My shows are Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, 4400, Hogan Knows Best, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, American Chopper, Roswell (saw it today), The Office and Lost.

I'm now on Season 4 of 24.

Oh yes. It's gettin' good.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Non-Anime Cartoons:
*W.I.T.C.H season 2
*Avatar:The Last Airbender season 2
*Oban Star Racers season 1(really good,Eva"Molly"'s relationship with her estranged father makes it more adult in mood than the average Toon Disney series.)
Live Action:
*Power Rangers Mystic Force(OTT fun,i.e. over the top.Watch it just to see how
Clare goofs up on her magic training.Though they should have saved the vampire storyline for Halloween.)
*Stargate SG1,waiting for season 10 to begin next month.
*Stargate:Atlantis,ditto with season 3.
*Battlestar Galactica, whenever it gets back on.
*Dr.Who(please hurry up with the next season so we can see SJS return!)

Mysterious phone call: Is your refrigerator running?

Dante: That's the oldest one in the book.

Mysterious phone call: Neo, please, let me tell you about the Matrix.

Dante: No, I'm hanging up.

Mysterious phone call: Don't hang up. We don't have to talk about the Matrix. We could just talk about... stuff. Your favorite bands. Chicks who've broken our hearts. The matrix.

I've heard really good things about the show. Many of my friends say that it is amazing, though I haven't seen an episode. Don't some of the episodes have a sort of supernatural element of some kind?

Just watched the first six episodes of Arrested Development. It took me a while to warm up to the characters (especially the magician older brother) but it's one of the few comedies that I've ever watched that had me consistently laughing out loud....and snorting ^^;

I watched some of the Twilight Zone Marathon. Good stuff. Love those old shows.
My favorite show on TV right now is 24. Very cool. It's the only show I watch regularly.
I also love (I'm probably showing my age here) DIY to the Rescue.

Three's Company was on yesterday. They had the one where they win all that money at the track and then everyone, especially Chrissy goes crazy.

Jack(as Janet picks up orange juice):"Don't pour that!"
Janet:"Why?"
Jack:"Chrissy probably put her initials on it."
Janet:"How can you put your initials on orange juice?"
Chrissy:"When it's frozen!"
Janet puts the orange juice down.
