What should I get on iTunes???!!!??

Gahh, I can't decide what to get on iTunes. Here are some cds I have been thinking about, and if anyone could tell me about their content it would be great!
Something by Iron Maiden (Somewhere in Time, Piece of Mind, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)
Anthrax (I dont know what...)
something by a band like Bad Religion, The Descendents, misfits, (something 80s hardcore...)
Maybe some modern heavy metal (preferably christian) can anyone reccomend some really excellent modern metal. I already have haste the day, as I lay dying, the showdown, zao, underoath, killswitch engage, can anyone reccomend some good metal that doesn't have tons of screaming/roaring?

Good luck finding 80's music. Personally I hate iTunes due to the poor selections they have and frequently poor alternate versions instead of the better version you knew, live versions, reunion versions etc.

I wouldn't mind so much if jHymn found away around the encoding for the current version so I could purchase the songs and convert them to mp3s, instead of that awful codec they use

EDIT: Okay, I was wrong about their Bad Religion selection. They have all of their albums, so I would recommend these - No Control, Suffer, and The New America. Really, though, as far as I'm concerned, you can't really go wrong with any of their cd's. I have 7 Bad Religion cd's and I like every one of them.

If you're only looking for something in the vein of Bad Religion though, I'd probably go with something else from the Epitaph label, possibly Pennywise. If you decide with Pennywise, go with their self-titled or 'About Time'.

For metal, Trivium is a decent choice. Lots of people are considering Trivium to be too mainstream to be good, but their album 'Ascendancy' is really good stuff. It does have a good bit of screaming, but it has some singing, too. Rammstein is never a bad choice IMO, but their style varies from album to album. Their older stuff is much more industrial than their newer stuff, and their newer stuff has some black metal influences in it. Old as they are, Suicidal Tendencies (if you can call them metal, I'm not really sure).

Anyway, I'm not very good at breaking down bands into genres, but I hope I've been of some help.
