Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

I didn't like it, and I'll tell you why. Toriyama-san had nothing to do with it. DBZ had run on for long enough, but some other people decided to milk it for all its worth. So they came up with some pretty wierd stuff, which just completely fails to entertain me. I feel the whole thing lacks authenticity, and probably shouldn't have been made. And I cannot stand parts of the English dub, like the narrator for instance...

That's just my opinion. Maybe I was a bit harsh. I certainly don't want to beat down anyone else who does like GT. I know a lot of people do like it. My days of Dragonball obsession have passed anyway. :)

Ouch. Kyle Hebert won't be happy when I tell him that!

j/k...

But seriously, I'm no GT fan, but Mr. Hebert is severely underrated.

If you really want to see how much potential DBGT had for being one of the better Dragonball series you had to watch DBGT:The Lost Episodes. :thumb:
The Lost Episodes included scenes that were cut from the original airing of the series and added material that made it a lot better. For example in the original Pan doesn't have a real introduction,in Lost Episodes there's an entire episode devoted to her. Also they include a lot of unaired adventures both before and after they come across Gyro. :jump:
So,in other words,if you want to see this get the Lost Episode version.

Nothing was added...the "Lost Episodes" were the episodes that weren't aired on American TV because it was said that "there wasn't enough action" to interest American audiences. Anyone who saw DBGT fansubbed (like a friend of mine) had already seen those episodes.

I didn't see all of it, but what I saw I didn't really love. I guess maybe because I was pretty much over my DBZ obsession, though I'll always still have a special place in my anime fandom for it, I suppose. I didn't hate GT though. I saw the dub,

*shudders* I agree. The narrator was awful, and Pan's voice grated on my nerves as well.

Anyway, aside from the voicings, I don't know. I guess DBZ had run so long, and DB was before that... somethings need to die out and others could stick around forever. DBZ can stick around forever, but it shouldn't be continued with different generations every time some one says "hey, I miss DBZ' or something like that. I mean, you want to continue the story, write a fanfic.

That is just a matter of opinion I suppose. Well, I also don't like how Goten and Trunks turned out. Trunks is kind of weaker it seems than he was in DBZ. and he just doesn't seem to fight much anymore, until he goes out looking for the dragon balls... And Goten is nothing but a girl crazy teen... or adult... whatever he is, he doesn't fight much either. I didn't see him ending up like that and don't like it.

Still, I don't hate DBGT. I'd probably watch it (subbed) if I had the chance, if not just to say I'd seen it all. But... eh.

Actually they did add some episodes that weren't aired in the original airing plus they added scenes that had been cut out when it aired the first time.It makes a lot more sense if you do watch the Lost Episode version. The fighting is a bit overrated IMO,what makes DBGT good is the storyline which is much more Sci Fi related than either Dragonball or Dragonball Z.
I think the reason some fans don't like it is they expect a fight every episode. And since DBGT isn't like that they hate it.I guess some people just don't appreciate good storylines.

The only nudity I was aware of this that of Goku when he is a child. I think this is shown like twice in the opening credits of every episode. It's been a long time since I've seen it though, so I could be mistaken.

Ouch. Kyle Hebert won't be happy when I tell him that!

Oh wow, I'm really sorry. I had no idea anyone knew him on a personal note. It's probably just because I'm a subtitle snob. I'm sure he's a good guy. I hope I didn't offend anyone. Sorry! :red:

I liked it except I liked the other two way more. I still think DB franchise as far as plots is kinda stupid and repetative but I think DBA was the dawn of popularity of anime in America so I still like it. Like, I`m aware the plot is stupid and stuff.

It did introduce some good characters like Pan (no flattery intended), Baby (Actually pretty cool villian after possessing Vegeta) ect ect

I like the style of this show but it`s still my least favorite of the DB trilogy.
