Star Spangled Banner

Postby Sonic_13 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 1:42 pm

I did my own little version of Jimi Hendrix's rendition of Star Spangled Banner.

Lately I've been going through this point in my life where nothing makes sense. I tried to portay this with my guitar. It sounds nothing like Hendrix's version, but I am still really proud of it. It took me about 5 takes.

For some reason I really want someone to get something out of this.

Could you guys do me a favor and listen to the whole thing and tell me what you think? Does it sound ok? Does it bring out emotions in you? Any kind of criticism, good or bad, is appreciated.

p.s- I chose the Star Spangled Banner because of the way it sounds. This is no wheres near an indication about anything towards America, because I love USA to death! It is commonly agreed that Hendrix played this song in anger towards the war going on. Just thought I'd clear that up =)
Not trying to start a new suhssuhsuhsss sensation
I'm just talking 'bout my jejejeh generation!
