I am currently reading two mangas. One of the two are Magic Knight Rayearth, and the other one is Rave Master. I am currently enjoying Rave Master more, but Magic Knight Rayearth is nice as well.

The only manga I really follow is Blade of the Immortal. ^_^ Love 17th century politics and immortal samurai mixing.

Here's my list:
Ragnarok (very good) :thumb:
Ravemaster (my favorite) :thumb:
Tokyo Mew Mew (cute)
Wild Act (becoming one of my favs.)
Flame of Recca (very good)
Tuxedo Gin (hah hah cute)
Finished Cardcaptor Sakura and it is one of the best manga's written - CLAMP!
Samurai Deeper Kyo (so much better than the anime)
Shaolin Sisters (just finished first set, and I anticipate the anime - mucho good) :thumb:
Digi Charat (weird)
Alien Nine (I love the honesty of the mangaka. He's just delivering a really wild and good manga)
Love Hina (it's over, but still Ken Akamatsu is the best in story design)
I read Megatokyo online and will eventually by the first volume.
Brain Powered (humm, okay)
Hana Yori Dango (okay)
Dragon Hunter (names and people are confusing, but it's okay)
Scryed (different than the anime - so different)

I read a lot of manga, but it's easy when you can read through a book in 15 minutes. :P

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

How is Ragnarok? I've only seen volume 1 and part of later ones. What is the handling of the very witchcraft like elements later on?

Ragnarok, again I say :thumb: It's very good.

I've just finished reading Vol. 8 and yes, it deals with questionable belief systems. Which manga, movie or book these days doesn't? I enjoy fantasy fiction and this is one of the best fantasy fiction mangas out there. However, the witchcraft you're asking about, I don't remember reading any blatant witchcraft scenes. If there were some in the first volume you read, I don't remember, because it certainly hasn't peaked it's ugly head out recently.

Hope this helps. I'm pretty acceptable of writers, as long as it's well done. :)

I'm reading Naruto too, Glitch. I just adore it. I'm also reading One Piece and Hikaru No Go. (Yes, I get Shonen Jump.) I'm currently trying to get my hands on a Ruroni Kenshin graphic novel....

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Heh, that's also where I left off on Rave Master recently. Right where it was getting interesting. I need to get the next few volumes.

I really want to read Kenshin but the Barnes and Nobles I go to never seems to have it. Guess I'll have to order it.
