I would have to say Amuro, because I've never heard of Char. Is he another Mobile Suit Gundam character?

How could you have heard of Amuro and not Char? o_O I gotta say Char is more of a personal favorite for me, I do like the voice of Amuro (the same used for quatre in gundam wing) but other than that Char is much cooler. He invented that whole cool battle mask look that was later borrowed by the also cool Zechs, and like most bad guys in the Gundam universe hes not really evil, more like fighting for what he believes to be right.

In terms of pilot abilities theres no doubt that Amuro is a better Newtype, but Zeon have awsome mobile suits, that evens it out ^_^

Oh yeah, has anyone here seen any Z Gundam? I hear Char is one of the main characters.....

Char is the coolest anime ever (in my opinion). He is cool, suave, and just looks awesome in his helmet!!!

I would go with Char. He keeps his cool during battles a good deal of the time. Char is probably equal (or near equal) in skills to Amuro, and givent a mobile suit that has the same strength and power as a Gundam could very well possibly win. But for some reason it doesn't matter how many better than before mobile suits Zeon comes out with, the Gundam is always the best one out there.

Zeon does have pretty cool Mobile Suits. Although, the Fedi Gundams are very nice looking too and powerful.
