Let's see . . .

I think I've seen every episode of Dragonball Z since, at the time, I had only basic cable and it was the best show on. Since then the same station has gotten Inuyasha, Gundam SEED, .hack\\SIGN, Witch Hunter Robin, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Naruto. I've also been watching fansubs so . . .

I've seen more episodes of DBZ than the others (probably all 247 + specials) but I think Naruto (seen 167 episodes + first movie) is slowly catcing up.
I will not waver, doubt or falter for all truth in this world has been written into the book here at my side.

Heh, HOW can I tell you watch YTV too? The only reason I would even bother watching WHR and GitS: cause they just happened to be on TV.

For me it would be Gundam SeeD and Gundam Wing. I stopped watching DBZ after Cell was FINALLY destroyed, so I can't count that one. I would count Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin, if CN had actually finished their runs.

The Arcs after the Kyoto Arc in Kenshin are horrible so you didn't miss much. The Shimbara Arc was decent but nothing compared to the orevious storylines.

Prooobably Full Moon wo Sagashite, at 52 episodes. That's the one I've completed, anyways. I've watched a lot of DragonBall Z episodes, but I haven't seen every single one, so I'm hesitant to say it's the series with the most episodes that I've seen. XD It's the same with Sailor Moon: I've seen about 56/57 episodes, but not the entire series in and of itself, so I don't think I can mention it here. XD

Seeing as I gave up Naruto around... the filler arc somewhere, I'd say Monster (74 episodes) would be the longest thing I've seen.

Even though I've seen more InuYasha and more Ranma, the longest I ever {i}completed{/i} was GetBackers.

I think the longest series I've seen every ep is Macross. Though I've almost watched every episode of Eureka 7, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball z ( haven't seen some of the uncut) There are quite a few others.

I don't see the point in really long series. The longest I've seen are the standard 26 episodes each of Noir and Last Exile. All the others are either movies or random episodes of anime on tv (very rare) or from the library (still quite rare).

There's no "point", really. The "point" isn't the length, it's the story in and of itself. If the story takes a long time to tell, a la Monster or 20th Century Boys, then yeah, it's going to be a long series, but it'll be worth it. Granted, several anime are long simply because of filler, but that varies from series to series. If the story stays strong and relevant to the plot throughout the series, then I see no problem with long anime. *shrug*

This is something that I fully agree with. As Corrie and a few others know, I not the biggest fan on long anime seires. This is why I have the 65 ep rule, which is any anime story that can't stay strong by 60 to 65 eps, I will not watch it.

There are some series that I will not even watch that go pass 100 eps and have a good number of filler eps in it.

Giving this, I will only watch anime say Monster, because it has a strong story and plot and it wouldn't be fair to water it down with a lower eps count.

The first longest series that I have completed was Gundam Wing at 49 eps.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC is now the longest series that I have completed at 52 eps.
