Its a Wonderful Life is the only good Christmas movie I can think of. Most are horrible and sentimentally sappy and dare I say it quite American and I don't get them. (lol)

A Christmas Story. Without a doubt.

Kid, you'll shoot your eye out.

Also, the only one of the National Lampoon movies I really enjoyed was Christmas Vacation.

I don't know if too many people on here have seen it, but my absolute favorite is Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. ^_^

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer:

Now you come to elf practice, learn how to wiggle your ears and chuckle warmly and go hee-hee and ho-ho and important stuff like that!

"Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's Christmas Time Again, Charlie Brown"

Jingle All the Way with Schwartzenneger (spelling?) was funny in an off-beat sorta way too.

A Christmas Story.

It isn't Christmas unless I watch that movie. To prove that it is the greatest Christmas movie of all time, I point out TNT's "24 hours of A Christmas Story." NO other Christmas movie other than that one gets shown 24 hours straight each year. Proving it is the best.

I also like Santa Claus Conquers the Martians as well as the lesser known Santa Clause, a Mexican production, I believe, in which Santa lives in a magical castle built on the clouds, breaks child labor laws (since he has no elves), the reindeer are all mechanical robots, and he has a crystal ball through which he watches your dreams every night.

Yeah. It's creepy. Also, Santa's greatest enemy is apparently Satan. It's the truth, watch the movie.

A Christmas Story has to be one of my favorites. I will never get over that leg lamp and how the dad pronounces fragile "frageelay"." ROFL

I also like the Grinch (I like the animated the best but the movie one is good too). Also those old school christmas cartoons like Frosty the Snowman and the Rudolph one where the elf wants to be a dentist. Those shows remind me of when I was a kid. :)

Miracle on 34th Street (either version)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon)
The Santa Clause
Elf
Any of those old claymation movies (although baby New Year freaks me out... ^^;; )

And for some reason I despise 'A Christmas Story.' I don't really quite know why. But I have found that people either despise that movie, or it's (one of) their favorite Christmas movie(s) ever, something I've always thought interresting.

The Nightmare Before Christmas for me.
I am completely neutral towards most other Christmas movies, though I found National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation somewhat amusing.

I also enjoy watching the Grinch(the animated one). There was a tv movie on not too long ago called "the man who saved Christmas". It was actually pretty good. Has anyone else here seen it? and yes, there's no denying A Christmas Story as one of the great classic Christmas movies.

I actually liked the 2nd on better, myself.

My favorite holiday movie that comes to mind is The Santa Clause.

Oh yeah. Scrooged is another great movie, one of Bill Murray's best. I feel I must watch that again this year, too.

I was starting to get worried that no one would mention that. The Snowman is hands down my all-time favorite Christmas film. Absolutely beautiful.

I think Disney pulls ye olde claymation movies out of the closet and shows them on ABC family, at least I saw previews for them. So many memories of those from when I was little.
