My character Torres had one...then he started getting invites to groups like "college partying", "we drink lots of beer", and "sexy people".

Needless to say I don't particularly use MySpace anymore.

(It's not actually a personal MySpace, but one for the Internet radio station that I co-run.)
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:

Grey FM Downtown -- a mix of mainstream and Christian pop and rock music (Listen Now!)

Same same. :| My sister's on it, but I'm just not interested. Granted, it was pretty funny to see a picture of one of my classmates posing in the camera with his shirt off.

i dont feel the need to be stalked by ghetto people. XD

I doubt they're "ghetto people" more like white middle class suburban 15-23 year olds. Just my obervations on people who actually talk like that.;)

Yeah I have a myspace account that's pretty much empty. YojimboAikido I think it is. Nothing up there anyway. Too many pics of guys lifting up their shirts, holding their breath, and flexing their ab's for me. And my female friends are and the rest of the girls at my school in general are too obsessed over it.

Hahahahahahah!!!! That's great!! I know how easily people can be stalked online...XD *~.n* Anyways, I don't have one either, for the same reason. At the art camp I went to over the summer, EVERY SINGLE PERSON had a Myspace account, and whoever didn't have one got one before the two weeks was up. It was crazy! So now I pretty much stay away from it, for more than one reason. 1.) Everyone has it, 2.) I'm content with DeviantArt, and 3.) the teachers at my school often look through the Myspace pages to see what has been posted on the students' pages. My Bible teacher actually discussed the content of some pages with the students (which is stupid, in my opinion, but hey). So yeah! No Myspace for me! XD And I'm cool with that. XD

Double ditto. I already have Xanga and I barely use that as it is (plus, one of my last entries involved a yelling frenzy about anti-Bush crap...).

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The main reason we set one up for
ChargeRadio.com is that Myspace is where a lot of our target potential audience is at.

I read that a speaker from a record label said that if you're in Christian Rock radio, you definitely want to have a Myspace page, because that's where your listeners are. (Of course if you're familiar with ChargeRadio , we don't just play rock, but also a lot of pop and hip-hop. But the same principle still applies.)

 Same here. I only got one so that I could see my friend's pictures; it made me register. :eyeroll: I do not recommend it, as I see some questionable stuff every time I log on to check for messages.

Slater, I think MySpace is sort of like Xanga or LiveJournal. Not sure though, as I don't use most of the features.
