1. Black Beauty by Anna Sewell (my parents read this to me when I was little)
2. Bridge to Terabithia (read in class in 3rd grade)
3. The Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline Cooney (read back when I was in middle school and into those utterly dumb mystery/horror/thriller novels geared toward kids that age... )
4. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (read it because we never were assigned it in school, was confused the entire second half of the book)
5. Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers (read in high school for fun)
6. Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes (read in middle school for class)
7. Flowers in the Attic by Virginia C. Andrews (read in 5th grade because I didn't know any better. NEVER NEVER read this book... it warped me for years o_O)
8. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (read in middle school for fun)
9. Goosebumps (series) by R.L. Stine (read a couple, borrowed from my sister)
10. Hamlet by William Shakespeare (read in high school for class)
11. The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (read for fun, haven't been able to read 6 yet)
12. How to Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell (read half by teacher in class 2nd grade, still don't know the end...)
13. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou (read in high school for class, we had a big freak-out at our school over this book, some people went to the school board over it even, wasn't banned or anything though)
14. James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl (read in grade school for fun)

17. Lysistrata by Aristophanes (saw the play since a friend was in it, does that count? lol)

20. My Brother Sam is Dead by James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier(read for fun)
21. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (read for CAA's defunct bookclub)
22. Scary Stories (Series) by Alvin_Schwartz (read in grade school, the illustrations [why it was banned] disturbed me for years, still do)
23. Where's Waldo? by Martin Hanford (read in grade school)
24. The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare (read for optional reading in 5th grade)

26. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle (read for fun)
Huh, more than I thought. And the strange thing is, a good deal of those I read in grade school and middle school... lol.
