Firefox Safe Version??

Postby Puguni » Tue Oct 04, 2005 6:44 pm

I've always wondered...what the difference between standard Firefox and the 'safe' version is...?

I didn't see anything in the firefox FAQ about a "safe version" so I'm shooting in the dark here.

Usually, that means a mostly-bug-free version and then the one that other people (who want the most features) use. The newer versions haven't been tested as much, and thus are not as "safe."

That would be my Guess, but again, that's just a guess.

you mean Safe Mode Firefox?

Think Windows Safe Mode... it's used for debugging when you screw something up.
