Prayer for Ashley

Postby blueraven » Tue Jun 24, 2003 7:32 pm

I don't know who she is or anything about her but I do know of the power of prayer. Tiffany's friend (Ashley) was in a terrible accident. As of now Ashley is unconscious, has a broken leg, a broken pelvis, a spinal injury, and a head injury. Thats all I know about the situtation. If you will please pray for Ashley, that God may place His healing hand upon her, for his glory. Thank you, I'm sure knowing that others are praying for Ashley brings a bit more comfort to her.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Absolutely. I have no idea who she is, but God knows.

everything happens according to God will. The outcome is already known by him and he will be glorified regardless of how we view the outcome... I will pray for healing and that his will be done. Sometimes he calls us soon.. sometimes he waits.

Amen.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

Thank you all. And yes, whatever the outcome is everything will work for the better and glorify God. I knew what I ment to say but I couldn't think to straight to put what I ment into words. But I think you understood what I was trying to say but worded it better. I haven't heard of any news on Ashley's condition but all I can do is pray that everything will work out for the better. Once again thank you all, Tiffany is very thankful for all the support and prayers
