Lol, I just had to post about this, I'm a total winter and snow lover, and the cold weather is good too! :thumb: Anyways, it's tough on the driving, but I don't mind, just slow down and be careful! Yeah I just got my first dusting of snow this weekend... nothing to board on though.

There's a kid in my band class who just got back from a vacation to mexico, and he said it's still really hot down there so it was funny when a few hours after getting back it snowed! :lol:

That's funny...it was 70-75 degrees here in VA just yesterday. Hopefully it will be down to 60 by Christmas! :bang:

It usually snows by now, but the weather has been crazy this year.

Phew! I sure am glad I'm not living there. The cold is 3\/1|_ . Although, it has been getting a bit cooler as of today where I am. It's odd how people wear jackets when it's only 50-60 degrees outside with wind. I wouldn't mind some warmer weather either.

I have only one good thing to say about the cold: it at least makes it feel like it's supposed to around the holidays...;) Although I dislike the cold a great deal, I don't want it to be 80 outside at Christmas either...:shady:

I like it where I live, a lot of change, weather wise. It was 32F this mornig, but no snow, which can be good. The snow where I live is very icy and dangerous, also because of the fact South Carolina has some of the worst drivers in the US. Snow, still cool, though, and fun to drive it, if you know what your doing!

I hate the cold, I wish I lived in a warmer place really. Couldn't complain about this summer though - we had quite a nice heatwave :)

Finally! Coldness! :grin:

Don't feel bad, Ash! At the grocery store where I work, I have to be outside half the time pushing carts into the store... I didn't even wear a coat over my uniform. And I wasn't even that cold. Also, my neighbor across the street: I've seen him outside in nothing his BOXERS in below 50 degree weather. No kidding.

Someone told me about this topic, and I was thinking "Oh, must be someone who lives in a place like where I live"... then I see who posted it and go "Ohhh!" in realization: It's the resident Minnesotan snowboarding nut! :grin:

Well, enjoy the snow. I don't get to. It doesn't snow here. I live in a desert. I get stupidly excited if the higher desert moutains get a little dust of snow on them so I can see it in the distance!

I'm glad winter is here, too. If you live in a place where it's summer for about 7 months a year, and where the temperature lingers around 110 for 3-4 months straight... um... you tend to prefer winter. And, me... as little of it as I've experienced, I like the cold.

I took a day trip last March to the mountains here in Arizona, where it actually does snow... up around Payson... Flagstaff... I loved the snow! It was difficult to walk in the heavy drifts, but it was really cool! I threw snowballs at my mom and dad. (I'm 24 and they are in their late 50s...) So much fun to get my mom, who's a bit of a stick in the mud... to throw a few snowballs at me... I loved the air, the way it smelled... the briskness, the freshness!

*Sigh* I feel like my childhood was so deprived... I've only been able to play in snow a few times in my life... like... 3 or 4 times... It's like, one of my dreams in life to someday live in a place where it snows.

70-80 degree Christmases are common here. People here don't build snowmen - they string lights on saguaros. I've seen a few spray-painted white tumbleweed men around Christmastimes, though.

For those of you who haven't taken physics yet...

Tf = ((9/5)*Tc) + 32
Tf = ((9/5)*10) + 32
Tf = (18) + 32
Tf = 50 degrees

(And I didn't even have to use a calculater for that!)

We had some flurries earlier this month, and then it got warm again. Until today that is. Anyways, I prefer a cold winter, they've been too warm in the past few years (well, except last year's which was about right).

What's stupid about it? I'd be excited too if my winters were spent in 80-degree weather! :grin: Spraypainting tumbleweed snowmen sounds fun.. how do they get em to stick together? lol

Look on the bright side, at my uncle's ranch recently the temperature went down to -22.

my friend likes winter more. why? because winter, if it's cold, you can put as many clothes on as you want. but in summer, you can't take more clothes off after you're naked. what a philosophy...

/me lives in sydney, so it's becoming summer here. it rained recently so temperature dropped, but it'll rise again. excuse to put more fans in my computer case? oh yeah...
