I still think Voices of a Distant Star, because it *doesn't* have a happy ending.

I would have to say Voices also and maybe Chobits. There really isn't a lot of romance-only anime that I've seen, counting maybe romances IN an anime...

Rev. Doc wrote:I'd have to go with Maison Ikkoku, Marmalade Boy, Kimagure Orange Road and the new Emma looks very promising.

Is Emma based on Jane Austen's work? Because if it is, I want to see it. I have a soft spot for anime based on literature, but I suppose I'm biased since my chosen profession is a teacher of high school English. I especially loved The Swiss Family Robinson.

He wants us to fullfill
And He'll provide the strength we need

My two favourate romance animes are Kannazuki No Miko and Gravitation. :)
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.
