Thriling Theme songs

Postby Tsukuyomi » Mon Feb 28, 2005 10:32 am

Watching alot of anime has left my mind filled with differant theme songs. One in particular is tha ending theme song to "Record Of Lodoss War"called "Fantasia Of The Wind" that goes alittle like this...

Let all the wounders come to me
The fantasy fills fills my heart
I'll neve wonder any more
For all the love I have I have for u
All the spirits of the wind
Spread their magic wings and fly
Gracing at speed of light
Through tha valleys and the passages of time
*When we fell in love Destiny
Now each night we'll have no end our nights will never end
Eternity awaits you and I
Now that you are here
We'll never be alone again
Stay with me my love.

What anime songs do u have stuck in your head?

"Hemisphere" from RahXephon is a good one, too.
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

*Explosion goes off in the movie*

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

I'm afraid I can't help you, Sao. I can say, however, that Yakusoku wa Iranai (Escaflowne) and Peak of Hope (Strawberry Jam) [Spiral] are two of my favorite openings---and admittedly, both get stuck in my head pretty easily. I never understood, though, why Spiral--which is such a brooding title--has such a peppy opening. It never really fit, IMO.

Oh, and there's Eternal Snow, of course, which is a ton of fun to sing to. XD

The opening theme song of .hack//sign is actually sung in English. The title is "Obsession". Here are the lyrics:

deep in the night
far off the light
missing my headache

visions of light
sweeter delight
kissin' my loveache

how come I must know
where obsession needs to go?
how come I must know
where the passion hides its feelings?

how come I must know
where obsession needs to go?
how come I must know
the direction of relieving?

Check out www.animelyrics.com for the other songs. Their list is pretty extensive.

Some of the RahXephon songs have gotten my attention, namely "Ongaku" and "The Garden of Everything" (both sung by the great Mayaa Sakamoto).

Do You Remember Love? from Macross: Do You Remember Love? OVA

Right now, I hear your voice
saying "Come here to me."
Just when it seemed loneliness had beaten me.
Right now, I see you
walking over to me.
I close my eyes and wait for you to come.

Till yesterday, it seemed filled only with tears.
But now my heart is.

Do you remember? The time when our eyes first met?
Do you remember? The time when our hands first touched?
That was the very first time I set out on the journey of love.
I love you so.

Right now, I can feel your gaze
though you're not here with me.
And in my body a warmth begins to glow.
Right now, I believe in your love,
so won't you please
watch over me from so far away?

Till yesterday it seemed filled only with tears.
Now the world is...

Do you remember? The time when our eyes first met?
Do you remember? The time when our hands first touched?
That was the very first time I set out on the journey of love.
I love you so.

I'm not alone anymore
now that you're here with me.

Hemisphere is also a great song and Miss Sakamoto is a great singer. Though I'm sure there are a lot of import OST's you can find on eBay if can't download them (plus it's better to own the original CD as they do sound better). :)

Yes, Maaya Sakamoto is a very very good singer indeed. I love her voice. Hey, can n-e one help me with some Revolutionaray Girl Utena music. I really want the song that they play in the movie when Utena and Hime Mia are dancing. Oo, does anybody know the song with the words,"I can taste the sweetness of the past" and there's "I will be ok." I know it's not much help, but that's all I can rememeber!!!

White Reflections
Just Communication
Rhythm Emotion
Last Impression

Great, great stuff. Never get tired of it. I like "Freckles" from Rouroni Kenshin as well. Bouncy!

Heck yeah! That and Cowboy Bebop's rock!! Nadesico deserves an honorable mention.

BAD THEME SONG: 'Freckles' from Rurouni Kenshin (Dub). I almost turned off the TV when I heard that.

The opening theme to Sailor Moon. I start singing it to myself then surprisingly enough people join me...oh, and "Freckles" from Rouroni Kenshin. By some bad luck of mine I've never gotten to hear it all the way through *sniffle*

Try to find the full version of Sobakasu. There actually isn't a full version of Freckles, since it was just meant for the dub. And Sobakasu's better anyways! ^_^

"Ride on Shooting Star" from FLCL and "World Without Logos" from Hellsing are my personal favorites. Both of them get better the more you listen to them.
