Need help on a link costume. :)

I need to know how to make knee high boots like the ones link wears in the legend of zelda or like the lord of the ring boots, or like pirate boots I guess.

some costume stores might have them or you could find a pattern of the internet

after thinking about it i have seen patterns for such stuff in at jo ann fabrics (while i was getting stuff for my balmung costume)

try looking in pattern books like you'd find in various cloth stores or even the cloth department of your local walmart, i know that there are some pattern books that are specific for halloween and that kind of thing, i'd start from there 'cus alot of times they have like mideval costumes in there, that'd be where your boots are
