Postby mechana2015 » Thu Jun 02, 2005 11:19 am

well in two heurs i have the first half of my art history final and thanks to my &%$#%$# roomate I got 2 hours of sleep. Pray either that I do well despite lack of sleep or can persuade the prof to let me do it another time when i am well rested and coherent enough to hear and walk correctly... yeah you heard me right..I'm so tired I can't walk in a straight line.

Random note... post 1,000.

:( That's horrible...I remember those days, and I'm not sorry to see them gone. They do go away eventually though, I promise. Boo for bad room mates. Still the same one?

I'll pray for you. Chin up!

Oh dear! I've definitely been there, art history can be a bear to study for. I will definitely be praying for you, that you'll have energy enough to get through the test or that your teacher will be understanding. Sleep depravation isn't the total end of the world, sometimes you end up pulling energy from some hidden reserve that you didn't know you had. Just try to stay calm, and you'll get through it.

Out of curiousity, what periods are you covering? More recent (renaissance/rococo/modern)? Or the ancient history? Or is it the entire scope of art history? (hopefully not...)

Well It's over... the teacher was encouraging but I still needed to take the test. It covered Renniassance Baroque and a bit of Rococo.. it's about half of the final. And the issue is that I can handle PLANNED sleep deprivation...its the unplanned ones that get to me.

Yowch, that would have to be so frustrating, being kept up by a roommate. If it's any consolation, most of my AHIS class had a slightly easier time with Baroque/Rococo than the ancient art. I think it helps a little to have a narrower focus (i.e. two centuries instead of a couple thousand). That's also good that your teacher was encouraging. How do you feel the test went?

I hope it all went well, and that you can settle the roommate issue as soon as possible.

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.
