i'm very scared right now...

Postby c.t.,girl » Tue May 31, 2005 7:20 pm

Last night, I felt a terrible cold shiver up my spine. Then...I felt as if I was being yelled at, this was in the middle of the night btw, and I started walking around the house without any thought. also during that time i was having a spiritual argument with...um...well let's just call it a girl...who've i've had this sort of argument with b4...and i kept sorta shouting under my breath, "no!" anyway..as soon as I realized that I was aimlessly walking around, I noticed I was in the kitchen...and I then felt a soft but scary thing...well let's just call it a little boy...who's tried to coax me into things b4...and then I kept saying no. Then the softness became screaming...and hatred...I ran out of there...and went in the den where my parents were...

for me...going in the kitchen like that is a bad thing...a VERY bad thing...if i go in there without any thought...*shudders* i just can't bear to think of it...

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

To be honest, I don't exactly follow what you are trying to say, but whatever it was, I know you'll be okay. So I'll be sure to pray for ya. Just keep pushing on and be strong. We're always here for ya.

We will be praying for you c.t.! Everyone here cares about you very much! But even more so, God cares about you more than all of us combined!

I felt that I should post this verse.
I know that they're probably slightly overused (or perhaps underused), and wheter it's from the Holy Spirit, or just a late night attemp to find something that will bring encouragement, I guess only God know's. :forehead: But here it is...
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
2 I will say [b] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

Psalm 91:1 Hebrew Shaddai
Psalm 91:2 Or He says

Something that I know from experience, is that it's alot harder to resist satan's attacks when you don't start the day off by spending some time to read the Bible, and to pray for God's strength to help you through the day.

I've hardly been able to do it consistantly, but one of the best things that I can advise, would be to set aside some time before you start the day, and to use it to pray to God for understanding, then find a good bible verse to read, reading it over a few times, studying it and trying to find ways to apply it to your life, and then to spend the rest of the time in prayer, thanking and praising God for His many blessings and asking him to fulfill your needs. I find that when I remember to do that, chances are that my day will go a whole lot better than when I forget!
And it dosen't have to take that long either! Anywhere from 15 to 20 min is what I'll usually do. (More if I feel like it.)

Well, I'll be praying for God to put special protection over you c.t.! (Though sometimes he will be protecting us through our trials, and we won't even realise it untill later.) God bless!

I'm praying for you. Remember the words of Psalm 91 (as Lionheart pointed out) but also Psalm 90 as well.

Don't be afraid the Word says that:

Romans 8:37-39:''No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angel nor demons, neither the present nor the future, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus our Lord."

C.T Girl., I was reading your Location saying:"in the sunset, trying to fight for the light with little wings..." Christ died for you so that you maybe be full in him and be in peace and be filled with joy, why are you so sad? Christ has risen for you and me so why not rejoice instead of focusing on our past folly. C.t. Girl, your other thread about being afraid about suiside, did you know as soon as you let Jesus into your life, you live eternaly. So why give up the life here, why not live out the amazeing life that He wants you to live? Just remember God will never leave your side, and He loves you more than you can ever imagine.

I'll will be praying for you, and hope that I will get to know you more and the rest of you guys here on this site. :)

Sorry for being kinda rude. I went through the same thing as you,One of the scariest times of my life, for the first time I encoutered a demon was when I was in cabin at a bible camp,

I woke up at midnight on the third day, there was only the little moon light shining out the small window of the cabin, It was a cold rainy night, I knew I was being watched. As I lifted my head of my pillow I saw a figure standing at my bed side I could see the nimble pitch black outline of a body. It stared directly at me I thought It was somebody sleeping walking so I reached for my shoes but I remembered that they we beside the door.. I got to go I have to go to my science class after school ill continue where i left off.

Continued: So I got to my feet and double checked under the bed i was on but it looks back and see him again so this thing or person had to be real! In shock of the creature fell back and it started walking towards me with out a noise. So I scurried to the door on my hands and knees to get my shoes, I found one!! I was happy for a moment but he was still there. I said "hi, who are you?" to it and it only started walking closer. And then I hear voices in my head and I was starting to go insane in fear. So I turned away from him and pinced myself and looked back he was even closer!! I had to escape this mysterious being, right behind me there was a door so either 1.I stay there and try to fight back 2.Keep asking who it was 3. Get out the door with one shoe. So I slowly turned the door open and I stepped out, turned around to close the door. The figure was right at the door when I was closeing it. I was face to face up close and personnal with a demon in pitch black. I closed the door and stood there stareing at the closed door feeling so relieved and almost in tears of how happy I was. I turned around with my back against the door. Then my mind starts going crazy and I heard in my head "Im still here". So I look to the left of the deck of the the cabin and to the right then I saw the figure signalling something to me with it strange hands. I rub my eyes it was there!! Thats when I completely let my guard down by feeling so safe but I was not even close to safe. So I bursted into the cabin not careing about the people sleeping and I shouted in terror: Where ARE YOU, SHOW YOUR SELF YOU FREAK!!"He was nowhere in sight. I started crying, I couldnt handle it, I was in complete fear. Then I sat down my bed and my conslors and other campers in ask "what happenned?" "What was all the shouting all about?". I talked to the counslors that night ,they told me that God gave us the power of conquering fear by trusting him that if you say it name of Jesus that they will leave me. I was so happy they told me that but I also knew that I would probably experience it soon once again but I was fully prepared to fight against evil in the name of Jesus.

Put on the armor of God and He will give you the power to overcome evil. I hope this will help. Ive been praying everyday for you ever since I joined this site.
Hang on there C.t. Girl, God will help you through.:)

I've encountered them and they're scarier than anything. Hang in there, Jesus is by your side.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!
