once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

I read very good things about that game. I'm very surprised how they joined melee and FPS gameplay while still maintaining balance.

What`s Half Life? I`ve seen the cover and it looked like a nerdy guy with a gun.

Is it a shooter?

I'm playing Dynasty Warriors 5 right now. It's a great game. U would think that it would be bloody and full of bad words, but it's not. Considering that it's a war game. It's a really great game that takes u back to ancient China during tha end of tha Han Dynasty tha starting of tha Three Kingdoms era. Not only is it fun, but it's a great history lesson in one joyful package!!!

Sneaking around in Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory (X-box), currently. I must say, gotta' love the that knife. One swipe and they are down! ...unlike in the previous games where you looked like an idiot when you got spotted.. you know, elbowing a guy multiple times as he continued shoot you. >.>

I just pick up Ikaruga on the Gamecube, today, which I am having a rockin’ time with.

I’m lovin’ the whole throw back to the feel of classic arcade games like Raiden and 1942. Yet, this game has a very nice and welcomed twisted to the gameplay. Your ship has two modes, light and dark, which you can switch between in a split second. In light mode, your ship shoots whitish blue shots (which do double damage to dark enemies) and your shields absorb (so far, it seems) any whitish blue shots the enemy can dish at you, but it only takes one reddish dark shot to take you out. Vice-versa for this goes for dark mode. Interestingly, the game rewards you for absorbing shots (which is very odd for this type of game, because the general rule was any stray bullet could take you out and this game is asking you to get shot!) by letting you return all the absorbed energy in the form of seeker missiles (fun!).

Ok, so maybe it’s not a complete throwback for some of those purists out there, but it is still a well-design and aesthetically beautiful game. Go find it.

The Straight and Narrow

I chose to walk the straight and narrow road, but one day I lost balance and fell off it. I had fallen onto some sharp rocks and injured myself. There were people passing by who would merely stare at me, and then keep walking. Thoughts of worthlessness entered into my mind, and as I chose to believe the lies, my wounds grew worse. I was so overcome with grief that I nearly gave up... but then a man walked up to me and stopped. Without saying a word, he started to wrap my wounds, he gave me some water, and then lifted me up and embraced me. He then whispered these words into my ear, "I love you my child." As he said those words I could feel all the worthlessness and despair fall away. He then held out his hands. They had huge holes in them. He then said, "Walk with me." I then took his hand and we walked together. Every now and then I would fall from the road, but no matter where I fell, he was always there to pick me up and tell me that He loved me.

ICO. I finally found a copy in a store around here. Sure, it was used, but the disc is in perfect condition and it had the book. :thumb:

Before anyone mentions ordering something online to me, no. I *hate* credit cards, shipping, and waiting. I'm old fashion, I like driving to the store and picking a game up.

But Link, its so much fun waiting 3 weeks for a burned copy of a game that won't even play on your system!

Anyway, I am playing Sacred on the PC right now. Lightbringer and I are working through the game. He has like a level 50+ Gladiator...and I have like a level 25 Vampire chick.

But you can get overnight shipping for $20. :P

Actually, I always buy everything online. Especially since I buy import games, which can't be bought at a regular store. I also buy authentic anime DVD's for about 25 %, 50% or 75% slashed off the retail price online.
