Isn't that a tech-cororally of Murphy's law? I think they call it the "Urashima Keitaro cororally" (or whatever that word is...) hehe, or at least that's what I call it...

Yeah... What's worse is when it happens in class and it comes complete with sound effects... And your speakers just happen to be full blast for some odd reason...

That actually happened to me not too long ago, and can you believe I was only searching for episodes of Sonic X?

Yeah, I know what you mean. Grr. :mutter:

Off topic. . .Hey, Gypsy, why don't you add this to the Murphy's Laws of Anime?

Just aside, Naruto is a ramen noodle shape.

The thing about links definitely needs to be added to the laws of anime. That's true far, far too often. I ran into a particularly nasty link on Google while searching for Christian manga. To say the least, that surprised me. Plus, I was chatting with my mother, and she was standing right behind me. Gyuh...

A good rule of thumb is, if the link looks suspicious and/or has an incoherent summary underneath the title, don't click on it!!!

That said, I've also run into those kind of sites by accident. It's sometimes amazing how many of those links are there when you search for an innocent anime series.

You could also try bumping up your google filter to advanced or moderately safe if you haven't already. That really helps.

It wouldn't stop anyone. Trust me.

And just to counteract the negative direction this thread is taking...

Actually, I did that too but that link was really innocent. "Naruto, gallery, images, information etc.etc." It was terribly deceiving! :shady:

Thanks for the suggestions, though and I think I'll look into the google filter option Ashley mentioned too. ;)

*deeply saddened by this abomination* I'm so pumped to start a Hentai free campaign on my page.

My friend called a company to order something, and they redirected her to a porn hotline.

What is wrong with the world?
