animated avatars

Postby Yojimbo » Thu Jul 15, 2004 12:39 pm

I've been trying to find animated Cowboy Bebop avatars but they're near impossible to find. I found one site but it doesn't have many and most are not to my liking...yes I'm picky. Well anyway are there any people here that are good at making animated avatars or know someone who is? I have the clips, and can point at, and give details to exactly what I'm looking for. If anyone would be so kind you would be my hero. :thumb:

Edit: Or heck if anyone knows of any sites I could look at that would have them that be fine as well.

Ok well actually I wanted a new sig with the picture below as the background. On that I wanted two animated avatars that I'll explain in detail next.

The first avatar would be from the episode "Pierrot Le Fou" when Spike is fighting Pierrot in the alley. It would start at about thirty-six seconds and end at about fourty-one seconds. This snippet here is right after Spike gets punched in the face. He rears back and we see him fire in first person, throw two left hooks, then get smacked again. The cool thing about this clip is that after examing it it would look pretty seamless because it first starts after he gets punched and ends with him getting punched again.

The second one would be from the episode "Honky Tonk Woman" when Spike is fighting the casino thugs. It would start at about fifty-five seconds and end at about one minute or so.

I know this is asking alot. And this does look to be pretty hard to do but just tell me what ya think.

my friend, my friend, I am already done! well, ok, no. I have a problem, and that is that the episode clips will not download. I could, of course, find a BitTorrent of the episodes somewhere and use those, but it would be WAY easier and WAY less illegal and WAY quicker to use the already-provided clips.

But once I get them, your avatars are going to be done quick. Oh yeah, I'm leaving at like 10:30 AM today for three weeks, so I hope those DL links start working... tell me if you find a mirror.

your sig will be done shortly

edit: oh, I just thought of this, if you already have the clips downloaded, you can upload them to my website and I can DL them from there. So let me know...

Sig version 1 finished. If you don't like the font, it can easily be changed.
