You have been traced, if !NCN! means anything to you, please leave now. If we get any more trouble I will start reporting the IP addresses that have been collected.

ShiroiHikari, 08 Sep, 3:08 AM
As stated in the forum rules:

Multiple Accounts - Multiple accounts are forbidden on these forums. If you are found out, your accounts may be disabled and a ban issued on your IP address.

Stop it.

If you are coming to this board for the sake of trolling, you are not welcome here.

Trolling is:

1: Starting arguments or posting in an argumentative manner. It's one thing to state your opinion, it is quite another to insult, defame, or revile other users (called "flaming" or "ad hominem"), or to single them out for personal abuse.

2: Posting hentai or other pornography is trolling because it is seeking to get people angry or offend them. Hentai and liveaction porn are the same in our eyes and both are very unwelcome here. Such posts are also spam, and posting such materials, descriptions, or links will get you banned. Veiling it as a warning will not work, neither will posting it in hopes no one will actually check it out-someone will, or someone will have heard of it before and you will be caught.

3: Posting to "bait" someone. I'm not talking about "friendly bait" (like a post in Goof Off that says "MillyFan come here.") I'm talking about a post that exists for the sole purpose of getting someone else to reply, usually in an angry manner.

Now, if you can post here responsibly without engaging in any of these behaviors, you are quite welcome to be here. If you cannot, however, save us all some frustration and leave the way you came, please.

To all of us:
If you see a troll or otherwise offensive post, please use the report link to notify a moderator. Do not personally engage the troll, unless you have no other options (i.e. no mods online) as that only makes the situation worse.

Note to the mods and admins: I'm not trying to "play mod." None (aside from ShiroiHikaru) are on as I post this, and it's more like a "neighborhood watch" kind of thing. You can remove it if you want as soon as you're online watching things. I'm just so tired of this constant trolling, and to use an obscure anime reference, these trolls have stepped on enough pudding for one night.

Hmm... Arguments... Have you seen me as a troll? I am pretty sensitive about some issues, particulaly Israel, Anime, and Games. I don't think I was every personal with Technomancer, but it got pretty bad with kenchii... I'm sorry to everyone who saw that, I was wrong for letting my anger get the best of me.

No, Bob, I wasn't aiming it at you. I was aiming it at the trolls that have invaded this forum over Saturday night-Sunday morning. . .and more of whom could be on the way.

Well, it seem things have died down, but do not let your guard down. They might be waiting for a time when no admins and mods are around.

This is how some people entertain themselves, by causing conflict. I know this personally, because I had so called "friends" who do this. Sad, I know.

Conflict? There's hardly any conflict. Don't they realize that nobody actually takes anything they say seriously?

It's funny, they don't. They feel we and other forums like us are here for they're amusement.

It's sad, first we saw these people invade chatrooms (Examples AOL chat and Yahoo chat). Most of us abandoned our usual chatroom haunts, and went speaking on forums (least this was the progression for myself and a good number of my friends). But it seems only a natural progression for them to eventually move and start ruining forums.

Myself being reformed evil, I can see how someone could get a kick out of the annoyance of others. However, it's sad that these people aren't creative enough to do the Tom Green thing, use a camera, and actually do this kind of thing face to face with the people they're agrivating. INstead they take the coward's way and do it over the Internet where, should all else fail they can change their IP, and no one has to ever know.

So, to all you trollers out there. Understand, you are a coward. And 80% of the world would prefer it that you get a life... the other 19.975% don't care, or don't have internet access, and that 0.025% is you.
.... Though, it is nice to know ya'll are in the minorty.

Advocate Drix

PS> the percentages, of course are ballpark... you trollers are probably an even smaller percentage than 0.025%. Grow up, and Get yourself a life.

you CAN chase them as long as you know their IP and their logged on time details. you can always demand the ISP to know that a person is, in most cases, breaching their agreement of their conduct in the internet through the ISP's network.

ISPs almost always carries a big long log of who accessed what and when. so useful...

You know, another Christian board I go to has had some problems with trolls.

You'd think these people would have better things to do.

Actually, I've found 3 websites today with us on their "hit list"...including some past members I was shocked to find extremely profane behind our backs. This is where are trolls are coming from...one of them finds us, posts our url, and invites all their friends. Mature, aren't they?

Just adding my $.02:

Attacks, should be expected IMHO. Ashley, you and the admins et al, have been annointed by God to maintain this site. There has been so much bickering betwixt the denominations for so long...isn't it something that we can all come together in a place like this and fellowship inspite of our theological differences, etc.? We disagree with one another on some issues, sure, but we also do so with respect most of the time. Don'tcha think that just irks the Devil somethin' fierce^^! I realize that the site is a Christian Anime site..and that is wonderful. I honestly thought I was the only Christian who liked anime til I found you...so it's a blessing, to be sure. But CAA has done far more than provide a Forum for Christians who like anime etc.... it has brought us together...*sorry if that sounds cheesy*. So, though I am sure you are spiritually mature enuff to see it: I just thought I'd remind you that if you weren't doing something so important, or God's divine will for you, you wouldn't be getting attacked so hard. I know this weekend has been trying for us all.. trolls *SIGH*, so I hope it's of some comfort to you and the gang that you have my support. And I'll leave you with: Matt 5:10-11-Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for MY sake.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. And yeah, it's nice to hear you're making a difference and all, but I speak for all the admins when I say this weekend has been beyond hard on all of us. But we're not going to be backing down on these guys any time soon. But again, I appriciate your kind words and support...sometimes ya really need to hear it.

I hate to be the party-pooper, but as I said in the thread entitled "Banned members":

Do NOT let your guard down. Once you think they've stopped is probably when you're going to get a surprise attack, who knows what will happen.

Just wanted to re-iterate myself. Sorry if I sound repetitive.
I'm back to make a post or two every couple years...
