That strikes me as just too funny. I got my mother to play exactly one video game in my lifetime. Doom. The real irony is that she's a pastor. It was really funny.

The Barra MacNeils- The Clumsy Lover Set
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

I cannot wrap my head around the concept of your mom playing Doom, except for the killing off demons thing. (My dad, however, played it incessantly -- I remember when we all deathmatched with Doom II in the Point Loma Naz PC lab and he came along, and got second in the rankings. Were you there too? I forget.)

Oh, music: Franz Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, which was a perfect counterpart to the precog murder scenes in Minority Report.

Thanks, Harry Gregson Williams is one of my favorite composers out there, his music makes you pumped up like non other. On another note, the intro music to the MGS3 E3 trailer is just awesome, it's the MGS2 main theme remixed with a "Cold War Russia" undertone, (or is it overtone?) very cool!
