The Festival of Lights

To anyone that celebrates it, Happy Hanukkah. (Yes, I know it's Day 5 already. Better late than never.)

I could've sworn that the Festival of Lights was Hindu... Isn't it part of Diwali?

After a quick search, I guess the name can refer to both. Though I always associate "The Festival of Lights" with Hanukkah.

My friend and I are exchanging Hanukkah gifts each day of the holiday. We're not Jewish, but we wanted to do it for fun.

I actually have the books of Maccabees in my Catholic Bible, which recounts the events that Hanukkah memorializes. It's a great story.

Dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made it out of clay, and when it's dry and ready, the dreidel I shall play~!

I remember singing that in 4th-grade chorus. Fun times, fun times. <3
