Explain? I don't know anything. I'm just kidding, don't be so serious!:hits_selfCephasWhite wrote:Bio will explain

Snips and Snails are awesome!:P Nah, no need to be sorry, I'm not trying to dictate how you should write your fanfic, you already have an idea of what you want and that's great. I'm just throwing around ideas for fun, you know? Like these:CephasWhite wrote:Sorry, I'm not having Snips and Snails in this, I don't much care for them. :/ Sorry.
Humans with ponies reminds me of Megan from G1. I didn't like Megan, one of the reasons I was never a G1 fan. What's with the o_O if I may ask?

Becoming Popular has been stuck in my head for a while now, just thought I'd say, it's a great song.
I like the story ideas and crossovers. And things like your views on who should be who in LotR. And I don't have anything against fanfics. But when I start reading them I become very critical.Bio_Plus wrote:Although I don't read fanfics there is one thing I would like to know. What role will Trixie play?

That was a simply bad fanfic, not horrible, but bad. Overly gloomy and mostly boring. But I can see what you like about it.
Critique about the fanfic CephasWhite posted, skip if you want(except for CephasWhite , I did warn)
I do like the story concept, it's an interesting thought, I was expecting an emphasis on death which never came and I'm glad for that, also I was able to read it to the end, I almost stopped a few times, but I still made it. I have to at least give cred for that. The whole fic is depressing. Even though it's told that the characters have moments of joy and happiness, that feelings are never shared with the reader, it's only a break that leads to the main character being depressed about something else. There is also not a lot of relationship building (that is shared with the reader) between the main character and this alternate Dash. There is also no character for Dashie (we are expected to except that she is RD and yet not entirely RD). Halfway through (Celestia arrives) and the mood of the story changes into such a confusing mess that it feels like a different fanfic. At the end it's said that the main character has changed and although he is sad his attitude towards life is better, yet once again the reader is left out of this feeling with a depressing scene and fade out and no solid conclusions.
Then there was the part where the main character reads Dashie's letter. That was the main essence of this fanfic and was really well written with a lot of feeling in there. In fact it was good enough to make me forget about the hard work it was to get to that point, and almost fooled me into thinking the fanfic was better than it really was(which isn't an entirely bad thing). But the worst (and the reason I don't read fanfics) was that it left me unsatisfied. It started to pull on my heartstrings and then left me hanging. I experienced the main character's depressions but never his joys and at the end the main character might feel better about himself but I feel worst.
There's a few creative differences and style in the writing that vexes me, but that's neither here nor there.
That was a mouth full, I wouldn't normally rant this much (it would make me very unpopular and it's just a fanfic after all), and the fic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It also didn't take me a week to read it, shame on me for reading silly stories when I've got stuff to do.
When I first saw G4 it was a similar reaction, but I was also like "OH MY GOSH SO CUTE!" and I started watching the show and I was incredibly surprised at how much I liked it.
I like what they did to Spike, who was one of my favorite characters in the original. But as I said earlier this thread, what they did to Lickety Split was weird for me.

Plus, being a Pegusai means like Cephas said, hanging with Rainbow Dash, and/or Fluttershy.
