Finished Metal Gear Solid - AWESOME game!

And I finally decided to install the Oddboxx, which I bought for a really good price maybe a year ago. I've already played Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus, so I went on to play Munch's Oddysee - which is simultaneously the cutest and ugliest game I've ever played X3 Love it, especially the Fuzzles.

Still waiting for a new stylus so I can pick up my DS games again.

Finished Solatorobo.
Solid game all around, although I do agree with the reviews that it was largely pretty easy.

Jurassic Park: The Game... sad to say, I think it sucks as a game!! Looks like the Sega Genesis version still holds the crown for best JP game. I wasn't expecting much but I was expecting something better than THAT. Waste of 30 bucks... It may be worth 10 dollars at the most.... and that's only for the novelty of it being a JP item and somewhat interesting.

Anywho, there was some things I liked about it... the makers obviously LOVED Jurassic Park. There were a lot of things that they did right in that regard. Also the story wasn't bad but nothing great either. Again, I liked how much they obviously cared about Jurassic Park. As a game though, it is absolutely no fun. You're basically watching a badly animated movie and push a bunch of buttons and that is basically it. The puzzles are barely puzzles and not challenging at all. I wouldn't mind it being a movie where you push buttons to trigger different outcomes but if you're gonna do that, the graphics better look good and run smoothly... actions scenes are slow cause it's gotta load in the middle of it and catch up (on the PS3 version anyway). Makes it quite annoying.

Oh and the soundtrack was wasted.

Bad game... I'd check it out only if you're a die hard JP fan and wait till the price drops to like 10 bucks cause anymore is really ripping you off.

I just downloaded a few days ago a free MMORPG called Grand Fantasia. This game is so fun and cute! I love the combat system and the people here are so friendly.

You're playing GF? ^_^ I used to play that, and yes it is sooo cute! ^_^ I didn't get to play much though, unfortunately, because I was playing S4 League with my bro at the time.

On a side note, I've only been playing Fading Hearts visual novel and, at the insistence of my coworkers, Batman Arkham City.

Zelda Skyward Sword... It's a Zelda game and it rocks... nothing else more to say. Finished the first actual temple... so played it for a little bit but not very far. Just make sure if you buy the game that you buy the version with the controller or you have a "motion plus" wii remote or a normal remote with "motion plus" attachment. I don't think it works without it so I was glad I got the one with the controller...

The controls are actually pretty great but I'm not a fan of ALWAYS having to wave my hand around to slash bad guys... but at least it works well and the remote follows your moves a lot better than any other game I've seen that used it like a sword.

I'm progressing lickety-split through Munch's Oddysee! Making my way through Slog huts currently. OMG, this game is soooooo addictive 8D

And I got a new stylus, so I've picked up Osu! Tatakae! Oendan! and Professor Layton and the Unwound Future again.

Replaying Persona 4 to get closure to 100% completion. I have completed up to defeating Yukiko's shadow. Certainly is a fun experience especially when thinking of those webcomic references.

Lol, me too XD Though I feel like, after playing Curious Village and Diabolical Box, I have a better handle on the sort of answers they're looking for. Some of them still stump me horribly, though.

I'm really getting into Munch's Oddysee now. I especially love setting the Mudokons (which used to be helpless wusses) on the enemies and then hearing them chatter amongst themselves, "We bad! We bad!" "We got 'em good!"

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask...while everyone else is playing Skyward Sword.

One of the few notable Zelda titles I've never previously played through.
Despite an awkward save system and some non-intuitive/repetitive time-travel mechanics, I am enjoying it quite a bit. I've completed two dungeons so far.

Surely I must have bankrupted most of the Glukkons in Munch's Oddysee by now, right? :eyebrow: Not that I want the game to be over. I love the increase in challenge with each level, and have realized how much I love puzzle games where the puzzle is eliminating every enemy while remaining safe so you can then have a clear path to run through at the end.

I've also started the hardest difficulty in Osu! Tatakae! Oendan! - and dude, I forgot how hard the Divas are until you get used to them :dizzy:

Besides Unwound Future I've only played Diabolical Box. Anyway, I just escaped the casino in Unwound Future, things are getting good!

Ohhh, Munch's Oddysee. I haven't played that one or Stranger's Wrath. :( I never had an Xbox so I missed out on both of those...I'm looking forward to the PS3 ports so I can FINALLY give them a shot! ^^ Have you played the first two Oddworld games? They are amazing.

Also, if you like the Osu! Tatakae! Ouedan! you totally have to play Gitaroo Man if you haven't already. It's made by the same developers and is, in my opinion, the greatest music game ever created.

Yeah, most of the puzzles still take me quite a while to figure out. I think I'm the best at the kind that gives you a list of clues to follow. (You know, like "A is next to B, but B and C aren't touching," etc.)

I have indeed! I think the Abe games are harder than Munch's Oddysee]coated[/i] with Slig tents, crowded all together in a shambly mass of misery. That game really made me feel sorry for the Sligs, as dangerous as they are and as satisfying as it is to see chunks of their flesh go flying everywhere XD I heard they were going to make a game featuring a Slig as the main character, and I would have loved to play that, but I think it got canceled :(

And actually, you don't need an XBox to play them anymore; they have PC versions now. I bought the Oddboxx, the PC collection of all four games, and it's not that badly priced at all for how many great games you get. I was really relieved when they released the Oddboxx, because I have no intention of getting an XBox of any kind, and this is the only way I would have been able to play Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath ^_^

Anyway, I just beat Munch's Oddysee! That was a great game; so much fun, so different, yet just like all the previous games. I'm sure Stranger's Wrath must be much different, but I like the direction Oddworld is going.

Also, if you like the Osu! Tatakae! Ouedan! you totally have to play Gitaroo Man if you haven't already. It's made by the same developers and is, in my opinion, the greatest music game ever created.

Hmm, I might have to check that out ;)

None. My wife and I are having some disagreements about games. She thinks they're terrible and evil and I like them. I have played very little since we came to Japan (maybe a total of 2 hours in the last nearly 2 months), and not even that much since we got married.

I really want to finish the games I have. I have a huge backlog, and will be finishing them before I move on. My wife was interested by Flower, and sort of liked Lilo and Stitch for a while, but she's been less willing to do anything she's not used to lately, so no luck. Getting time to play alone isn't likely, either.

MTG 2012. Giving me a simple, single-color deck to fight a deck with 3 colors and a bunch of artifact creatures? Seriously? See, this is why you should be able to build your own custom decks in these games. *grumblegrumble*
