What's the skinny on "Angel Wars" series?

Good, bad, coffee coaster?

I just spotted this on eBay due to it matching one of my searches.

Is it worth picking up and what's everyone's opinion of its relevance as a Christian topic (yes, your opinions amy differ but that's OK), as a regular anime series....

Thanks!

Looks like it's the 4th installment in a series, and is just an action/adventure series with Christian messages. The story is written like LotR and Narnia- no overt Christian references. (this has apparently created some haters. I lol'd at one site, since apparently you can't have good Christian entertainment without mentioning God or the Bible or Jesus. They must not like LotR or Narnia, either.)

Honestly, I have no idea if it's any good. I haven't seen it and don't know anyone who has. And I don't care- I can tell from the description on Amazon and other places that it's just not my type of thing.

EDIT: Also, it's not an anime series by any stretch of the imagination. It's an American show.

I've heard of this before, a few years ago... I didn't ever look into it extensively, but what I did hear about seemed interesting. I'd actually almost forgotten about it until now.

And yeah I didn't think it was an anime either.

In that case I'm moving this to General Entertainment.

I saw an episode of the series in a Christian book store. It did not impress me much. It might have been because of my age. It looked to me that the target audience was preteens. It seemed not to be appealing to a wide age group. If you think you will like it. Just get it. Try to find clips of it to see if you would like it.

I've seen these before, and my family and I actually kind of enjoyed them. They're targeted more towards kids and preteens, but I personally found them kind of cute. Younger people may enjoy it more than someone in there teens or older. They're actually not all that bad, a little cheesy sometimes, but I find it interesting how they do certain things with the story. :3!
