Just.....wow. God bless you, Midnight...just remember that He is with you. As for your family, the Bible says to humble ourselves. So if your family issues are from pride on your part (though it doesn't sound like it) maybe you should read what the Bible says on humility. But don't lose faith! There are no circumstances God can't use to teach you something! If I were you, I'd settle things with your family. I know you dont wanna hear this, but YOU NEED THEM. But anyway, I just prayed for ya'. Hope you can secure a job. God bless you.

Had to redo my math. It's actually 18 hours. How did I miss that?

Here's the situation, I've put in an application for Taco Bueno online, but I should do it in person so I'll do that sometime. However, if by the end of this week, I can't make ends meet, I'll have to move to my grandparent's place in McAlester for the time being. My friend is moving out of his apartment to Washington state in August and that'll give me a few months to save up and be better prepared. Problem is I need to have a chunky $499 dollar check to go with a 30 written notice to the leasing office. I'll visit Tulsa every so often to be with my church family that I trust with my life.

I also remember making my peace with my family before I moved away from my mom, my sister, dad, everyone. I think the reason why I don't want to live with them is because I don't have ANYTHING in common with any family member except my dad who is 1580 miles away from where I'm typing this, and I can't stay there cause I didn't really like Massachusetts.

maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

Glad to hear you at least have some sort of income. I'll still be praying your situation improves.

p.s. Mass. isn't all that bad, is it?

Alright, things are looking up now. I've got an interview at a Flying J tomorrow at 10:30 AM central US, pretty sure I got other calls for interviews at other places, Sonic now has me working 30 hours next week. I'm guessing this week was a trial run, and according to them, I am progressing rather quickly for a new guy. Well it's not like I'm a stranger to fast food. The challenge will come when I get a tech job interview, land the job, then try to get my manager to switch me to nights even though she was desperately looking for a day person.

The next trick is getting the rest of the rent money by the time it's due. $7.25/hr is not enough to overcome that. I'd only make $870 a month on that.

Edit: well that didn't work out the way I wanted. Flying J is a no-go and my Braum's manager hasn't found anything.

Edit MKII: Well, just got back from a staffing company and they are looking for people with a tech background, asked me a few questions, and are sending my profile to some companies.

Hey looky, a double post. Whachu gonna do now, punks?

That was a surprise, my father just gave me yet another 1 month rent when I didn't expect him to. I sent the message to my grandpa but forwarded it to my dad instead. I'm now looking at other apartments in hopes that I can get out of this one and one that I found is $299/month at minimum. Easily sustainable even at minimum wage. So I need to try to cough up $770 give or take if I want to move into that one on top of the early termination fee I have to pay here. Jeez... Perhaps I should have stayed being a shift manager at Braum's
