I came across this resource that aspiring comic artists might find useful. It's called The Best American Comics. They come out with a new issue every year and it is what the editors have decided are the best comics they have seen for 2009. I do not think the major comics will be in there, but sometimes it's good to look through stuff like this to see what is out there and what you need to be like in order to get noticed.

They also have many other subjects, as well. I have not gotten to read it yet, myself, but I am going to try to look into it.

Oh nice, I bet this is really interesting! I was hoping for a list I wouldn't have to pay for, but I hope I can find a copy of this in a bookstore one day to leaf through. I'd be interested in what they have to say and who they recommend to read from in the comics medium!

Also, I think I will move this to General Entertainment.

This is definitely something I am interested in. I expect that I will not have even even heard of most of the authors and artists contained within, which is actually pretty exciting.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."
