Please Save My Earth vol 1 and Lovely Complex vol. 1- I couldn't decide which I wanted to read first, so I just went with both :)

Black Sun Silver Moon 1-7 (finished) - It started off slow, kind of meh whatever, but by volume 3 I officially loved it. However, I think a large part of the love was due to Tomo Maeda's total apathy toward little plot/research issues. It was hilarious.

Starting D.N.Angel vol 1....

Bakuman vol 8 - :)

And now One Piece chapters 1-20, just to see what all the fuss is about. Maybe I'll continue it?

I was bored and in a bookstore- what better time to check out a few manga?

V.B. Rose vol. 1-2- It's a shoujo, reverse-harem, and I can already tell who she's ending up with! It's... good, for a shoujo, but I think I've outgrown most of this. It's good, but interchangeable with many storylines.

Only One Wish, which is only one volume :) - The premise is not exactly unique, but the execution warrents a second look, since it has stories with good, bad, and indifferent endings. Above average, though not one of my favorites.

And Bamboo Blade vol 1- Wow. Miya-Miya is even more hardcore than in the anime- she smokes, for heaven's sake! I have to say, it looks like the anime toned down the questionable elements. But even so.... I found this to be really good.

The manga version of Miya-Miya scares me. :) But I should really finish reading this. I've missed Tama-chan.

I finally decided to read Yotsuba&!, and after just one volume, it is pretty much my new favorite.

Heh, Miya-miya is scary in both the anime and manga!

And I'm glad you like Yotsuba&, it's a great manga!

Due to a bout of insomnia, last night I finished Bamboo Blade vol 2- and it's still great!

Bamboo Blade vol 3- Yes, it's hilarious. I love it!

Billy Bat vol 1-2- This is most definately faster-paced than 20th Cen. Boys and Pluto, but I can see the cast of characters and the plot winding together and becoming a nice story. The second volume does go into some questionable religious material- it has Judas seeing the bats, Jesus drawing the image of God Judas has in his head (not the true image), and also has Jesus asking Judas to turn him in, which some will not be comfortable with. But overall, I'm enjoying this series.

I made it my goal this weekend to finish reading FMA. However, it's been a REALLY long time since I read any of it...so I had to do quite a bit of back tracking to be able to keep everything fresh in my mind so it all made sense. In short, I ended up reading 50 chapters of it today - interspersed with watching a few of the anime episodes here and there, when I came across something I really wanted to see animated, or hear voiced, etc...and just now finished the last chapter. Whew. My eyes hate me now. lol. But dang. It was amazing. Bravo, Arakawa-sensei. *claps*

Cross Game chapters 1-4

I don't care much for sports therefore I don't usually read sports manga. However this series seems to be a drama with just some baseball on the side so I can live with that. Obviously after the first four chapters I can't really tell how the series will turn out, but so far I really like it. The older character designs are great as well.

Yes, SmackJeeves is an awesome webcomic hosting site (I'm also on it). Just be very careful, though, Mature Content is allowed, however everything deemed "Mature" should be marked (as in, if you click on the banner, all the pages showing in the "recent uploads" section instead of a thumbnail will say "Mature Content"). Just a warning; beware all of the Yaoi manga >.<

Lolz! TBH, I have no problem w/ yaoi, I just have no interest in it. I'll take the warning about the mature content, though, thanks!

Lets see.... I just read the next chapter (#43) of 1/2 Prince.... and it's still hilarious! I love 1/2 Prince, I love 1/2 Prince.... Why won't it get licensed?!?!?!?!

And also started Darren Shan, because I feel like something mind-bending and creepy.

Since someone here asked for a review for Tail of the Moon, I went ahead and read all 15 volumes yesterday.

.....I hate it so much. I don't know how I'm going to write the review properly because of that!

So I have a question. I picked up a manga called "The Key to the Kingdom" but I only found vol.3. Has anyone read this manga? I am having a hard time finding 1 and 2. Is it worth the hunt for these books? (no spoilers please ^_^)

Probably a better question for the Rec's thread, but I just did a search on MAL, and that's a pretty rare manga for anyone to read- only 27 of the thousands of users have read it. It has a decent rating, but there are no reviews. There is one on ANN though - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/the-key-to-the-kingdom/gn-1 . If you're going to get the rest of the manga (it totals 6 volumes), you're going to have to do it quick, since it's printed by CMX comics, which is part of DC Comics, and they're shutting doen July 1st. Soooo..... You're probably on your own for this one!

EDIT: I found a book order site online that you can get the series from, if you're interested- [url]http://www.powells.com/s3?kw=key%]

Currently, I'm reading Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, though I've only read a couple chapters inward before I got busy and had to kinda put it on hold. :0 I also want to read W-Juliet, which I'd dropped a while back and haven't picked up. Wanna re-read the old and the new I haven't seen. And Moe Kare!! =u= There's lots of manga I want to read~
