I don't like all-nighters, so even if I procrastinate, I'll still get sleep and just get up really early. XD

I've pulled an all-nighter... to go see the midnight premier of a movie, then get home at 4 am, so that I could take a test on cardiology at 8 am. And with my light load this semester, I've pulled a few past-midnights to read manga/watch anime, but that's about it ^^"

Man, Kierkegaard and all-nighters do not mix. At all. Do not go there.

Me! Me!
I don't always procrastinate...I just save most of the work until later. Two in the morning later. But I am a night person, I hate getting up in the morning.

I kinda procrastinate. I do my homework later in the night, but finish it about an hour or so before I want to sleep. The all-nighters come in when the internet beckons me and tries to foil my plan...

My productivity drops like a rock when I get tired, to the point where it's not even worth it to attempt an all-nighter.

I did a lot of all nighters last semester. Lost my ability to feel emotions as a partial consequence and can't figure out how to get them back. It's pretty bad, I'd actually like to feel SAD again. Imagine that. In any case, can't recommend them, they are known to cause depersonalization disorder which is perhaps close to what I have - that or some kind of severe depression or other weird psychological event. Despite others telling me they were bad, I'd only imagined they could cause health problems like the flu - which doesn't effect me much, my parents never let me off from work or school just because I was sick.

But yeah, don't make it a habit and keep to sleep. I love dreams - I never want to leave my bed now!

I pulled my first all-nighter of my college career last Tuesday/Wednesday. It was AWESOME though. I was awake to see the coffee shop downstairs open up in the morning. XD

Also, let it be known that staying in the CAA chat for an entire all-nighter is very entertaining. XD

For the past... 3 weeks I've been going to bed at 5:30 am and waking up at 7:30.

I've never looked or felt worse in my entire life. I run the risk of someone cutting my head off because they've mistaken me for a zombie.
On the plus side, 27 more days of this! Then I getta go hommmeeeee!

I'm not good with all-nighters, I'm a quick fader, and I'm also not a morning person... I'm more of a mid-morning-early-afternoon person... which sucks since I study and work full time and can't do them both at the same time...

I haven't been in school this year except for one class last semester that didn't really have homework. (moving to another state has sort of whacked things out) So, I haven't had any all-nighters for that reason...but now and then my friend and I hit about 3am with our anime line-up. But fall semester more-than-likely I'll be joining you. xD

I'm a quick fader too although...oddly it seems that the more involving something is, the faster I fall asleep. Like, if I try to play a video game I will fall asleep easily. If I'm watching something on TV, I will not be able to sleep. I don't know why this is.

And not being a morning person is WHY you should pull all-nighters! I go to sleep at like 8 AM and wake up at like 6 PM. Can't get much more not-morning than 6 PM!

Yes Nate, I'm aware that I say things I don't mean, but let's face it, if I said "I have positive memories that might or might not have been love about when I dream - but currently feel indifferent towards living, dying and everything else in the world" it might make my life a little more complicated... would I care no. Am I a sociopath though? My former self would hope not. So consider what I say, what I would feel if I could actually experience it, but not what I am necessarily experiencing, the cogs are turning I know I have that disposition, but the computer screen still gives no joy.

I can also not fall asleep in front of the tv...

LOL, the only way I can stay awake until 8am, is if I'm pumped with intense amounts of caffiene... and it has to be just about caffiene concentrate injected straight into the bloodstream... And also, even if I have pulled an all nighter I am never able to fall asleep during the day, I need just about total darkness to be able to sleep :) so no naps for me :eyeroll:

Ah, lucky...caffeine has zero effect on me. When I was in Italy, we went to some small cafe somewhere and I had a triple shot of espresso. Then I fell asleep on the bus.

And I've oddly grown accustomed to sleeping in the light. In fact, I'm starting to find it kinda hard to sleep when it's dark...

Five all-nighters in an (incomplete) semester is fairly impressive. I've had some scattered throughout my uni career. Perhaps my last semester (most intense) did have maybe four? I generally tried not to do more than one a semester though. It makes the day after painful to get to though.. And all-nighters make me incredibly hungry, thus requiring a pre-breakfast breakfast.

I've had more in grad school than in undergrad. One particularly tough semester, I had to pull an all-nighter of epic proportions. I had just finished my metaphysics paper and had to write my political philosophy final paper. This is the night before it is due. I hadn't begun writing it yet. Granted, I had my outline and research done, but still...what a suicidal move on my part. I wrote 20 pages of philosophy in 10 hours. And I aced that sucker too. Bam!

Whenever I pull an all nighter it's from goofing off, but sometimes the essays do keep me up into the wee hours of the night. And when I'm done, I play "Kimi ni Mune Kyun" to celebrate!
...you must begin a reading program immediately so that you may understand the crises of our age... Begin with the late Romans, including Boethius, of course. Then you should dip rather extensively into early Medieval. You may skip the Renaissance and the Enlightenment. That is mostly dangerous propaganda. Now that I think of it, you had better skip the Romantics and the Victorians too. For the contemporary period, you should study some selected comic books.

As a person who just got yet another cold from going to bed to late, I hereby renounce my status as a night owl. The fact that I am posting this at 1am should be disregarded, since I've been asleep ever since 8, and will very likely go back to sleep in a few minutes.
But srsly guyz, take care of your body and go to sleep as early as possible.

I never pulled an all-nighter in school or college. Sleep was too valuable a resource, and still is.
