Dream Poll

So I've been noticing for a while now that of the many people I know, most men tend to only have dreams in which they are male, while women tend to have more varied dreams in which they can play a member of either sex. Thus, I wanted to do an actual poll. Do you have dreams in which you are a member of the opposite sex? If so, how often? Is there anything special/unusual about the dreams?

Personally, I regularly have dreams in which I play a male character, though the vast majority of the time I am female. My favorite example: I once had a dream in which I switched between playing the boyfriend and the girlfriend in a relationship as the story progressed.

Woah, I must say I don't think I've ever had this type of dream O_o.

Although, last week I dreamed that my favorite nascar driver (who is male) won a race, but when he stepped out of his car, he was suddenly a woman! And He/she gave me a car! And I drove it through a fence!

I'm pretty sure I've only had one dream where I was a guy.. This was after watching the movie "Hot Chick" XDDD;;

For me, I would say no...though I don't exactly remember every dream I've ever had.

Gender is never really that important in my dreams. Or rather, I don't pay much attention to it, because dreams are often hard to remember.
I mostly remember being myself in dreams though, in terms of personality, not in terms of gender.

Well, I'd say I only dream about being a male. However, I do have dreams where I'm not even present. The dream is basically an observation of something/someone else.

Usualy in my dreams I dream that I'm a male, there are a few times that I dream that I'm the opposite sex but overall In my dreams I'm the same gender that I'am in real life.

I may have had a few dreams where I dreamed I was a male character, but if I had I wouldn't have remembered. I'm almost always female in my dreams. I do have dreams where I'm not myself, in other words I'm a different person and I get to experience what it's like to be that person. But if I were to look in a mirror I'd still look like myself at times, but I at least know I'm actually different physically. For example; Once I dremt I was a news reporter woman with long red hair (or maybe that was someone else) but I believe if I were to look at my reflection, I'd see me. But that's basically it. For some reason, I get the feeling I may have a dream where I'm a boy tonight just because of this conversation. *shrugs*

In all my dreams, 99.9% of the times I am myself. The other 0.1% is when I dreamt myself as a Transformer named Ultra Magnus, using chopsticks to pick up and eat a Dim Sim (I know, it's crazy!).

Additionally, in the other 99.9% of my dreams, around 75% of them have to do with me either:

a) Locating vintage boxed LEGO sets at absolute bargain prices
b) Locating stacks and stacks of vintage boxed LEGO sets at Toys 'R' Us
c) Both 'a' and 'b'

I know ... I must be obsessed.

Not only am I always male, I am nearly always myself! Though once I may have been a goblin...I got stabbed.

I've often wondered what it would be like to dream of myself as a woman, but I've never tried it. I just can't imagine myself as a woman.

Usually I'm not me in my dreams anyway, and not only am I often a character of the opposite sex (or several characters at once) I'm not even human a lot of the time.

Though it doesn't happen often, yeah I've had dreams where I was a girl.

I've also dreamed I was of a different race a few times.

Though I'm also one of those people who has very bizarre dreams quite often.

I'm female and have had several dreams where I was male. I've also had dreams where I was some sort of monster. My dreams are pretty odd, yeah.

I think I'm always just myself in my dreams, but the situations are screwed up every day type of things and are kinda freaky/scary.
