Project Eagle: Mission 1 Theatrical Trailer

Postby Danderson » Sat Mar 22, 2008 10:25 am

Since 2005 I've been working on this amateur film and the trailer has FINALLY COME OUT!!! Yeahs.....(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGcBPs2x0xQ)

Here's the plot:
A young man finds a model rocket in his backyard. Odly enough, the date printed onto its shell is also his birthday. When things couldn't get any weirder he gets caught in the cross-fires of a secret war between two rocket teams....both of which think this rocket is something more then...well, someones hobby...

Sound complicated? :hits_self

The plot, action, and characters are very influenced by The Matrix and various anime series. However, it is important to note that it does not take place in the universe of the Matrix or any other anime....And when i mean, influenced, it's more in the form of style of camera angles, character names, and type of action and combat....So, yeah we're not copying ideas....we're just barrowing the physics of those ideas....

Also, I must mention it's definetly been only by God's Grace that my friends and I have gotten this far in production, and it's becuase of Him and becuase of them that this has become something....

Hope u guys enjoy......!!!

It's a bit unusual to see lightsabers in this sort of movie (actually anything other than Star Wars) but it actually looks like good fun.
The premise sounds interesting, if a little odd. I'll be interested to see the final result at some stage.

I hope it all goes smoothly.

OH my gosh, the trailer looks awesome! I wanna see it! I've always wanted to create a movie myself. My bro and I are making an anime, but the trailer is still being animated XD

EDIT:
I just watched all 7 parts that were uploaded, and MAN! I lvoe it! So does my brother. I really found that the film spoke to me, because it's about God having a purpose for us all. Great stuff, keep film-making for Jesus! ^_^
