Hi, I have been here for a few months but I havent seen you around so i guess we just frequent different places of the board, so let this be a step towards friendship :)

Can you name a pet peeve? The sillier and more irrational, the better.
What is your personal concept of Heaven? How do you imagine it?

First off, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Maokun. It's strange that I haven't talked with you before. Glad to have you here!

Whee!!!! Page four! Now...to start with Mr. Rock's inquiries:

1. Hmm...I'm not that sure. I like bows, axes, and maces.
2. Nirvana is a pretty cool band. They are okay...
3. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I cannot believe you would ask me that! HECK FRIGGIN YES! I love Back to the Future...it's my favorite sci-fi trilogy of all time! I can quote the movies in my sleep! I was just talking with a friend about dream cars and a Back to the Future DeLorean was my car of choice.
4. Ummm....I would be an Aries.
5. Chinese zodiac...I'm a Ram. I prefer the Native American zodiac myself (since I am a good part Cherokee...that and it is more detailed. To my people, I would be a falcon.)
6. I have quite a few pet peeves actually. Slothfulness, gossiping, deception, smoking....to name the main ones.
7. I believe that Heaven will be the most amazing thing in all of Creation. There will be music that was unthinkable....colors unimaginable....streets will be made of gold and homes decorated in jewels. People will sing, dance, converce, paint...anything to praise and honor God. I believe our pets will be there to make us happy and we can sit with out ancestors and talk about anything.....I don't know....but what I do know is that I cannot wait to find out.

1. Did you ever watch Quantum Leap?
2. Have you seen Willow?
3. Would you want a mogwai for a pet?

Willow is a movie George Lucas made. It's sort of a Lord of the Rings-ish story. Very good.

1. Easy. Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle because she finds herself when she goes through the spell and becomes strong and confident.
2. Hmm....probably Yoda. He's cute, fierce, and wise. I love him! I also like Hans Solo....just because he is cool enough to respond to Laia's confession of love with "I know." So funny!

The truth is...I am three days older than dirt. Hahaha.

Definately red. I don't care for pink or similiar bright feminine colors. I like darker shades and hues. Indigo, plum, red, and black are amongst my favorite colors.

1. I have never been in a play sadly. My mother noticed my talent when I was a child and prevented me from acting (her biggest fear is for one of her children to better her). The last chance I had was when I was in school, but I was too busy to take care of my grandmother. I have always wanted to though. ^_^
2. Viola from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Her character would be a thrill for me. She is separated from her twin brother in a wreck at sea and washes on shore of a strange land. To save herself, she poses as a man named Cesario and becomes the musician and confidante of the Duke Orsino. She begins to fall in love with him, but he is in love with the lovely Olivia. Orsino makes "Cesario" deliver love letters to Olivia and she begins to fall in love with the messenger instead of the duke...I won't spoil the story, but it is one of my favorites.
3. I went to see Fiddler on the Roof when I was seven, but I don't remember any of it. My dream is to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
4. 27 pages.
5. I have seen all of Bebop about three or four times. Great anime series.
6. Hmm...probably Sam Wise. He is not exactly a "hero", but he becomes one throughout the story. I like him because of his loyalty and good nature. (Although I do also like Aragon...but mostly because of his looks. ^_~)

You're not spoiling Twelfth Night. I'm a Shakespeare fan too, remember? I have a whole book of everything he wrote, including the sonnets.
1. Ever been to a convention?
2. Anime world you wish you could live in?
3. Anime character you'd want to meet?
4. Ever been to a renaissance fair?
5. Have you ever watched .hack//sign?

1. I have been to two conventions I think...it has been forever since I have went. For the past few years something has always come up. One year I had the oppurtunity to preform with an old group at Disney (so I HAD to go) and the other ones have revolved around family and finance. I planning on going to my state convention in April.
2. Gosh...that's tough. Either fuedal Japan like Inuyasha, Haibane Remnei, or any Miyazaki film.
3. I used to have a list when I started watching anime...there are too many just to pick one.
4. Sadly I have never had the chance. It's on my bucket list though.
5. I have....I missed so many episodes to really get a concept of it....it's like Lost if you miss five minutes you are confused.

:o You watch Lost? Oh, cool! I watch that show religiously! Well, then here is a Lost question:
1. Who is your favorite Lost character?
2. What's the worst book you've ever read?
3. What's the worst movie you ever saw?
4. What's the worst anime you ever saw?
5. What's the worst TV series you ever watched?
6. Who is your favorite Cowboy Bebop character?

1. Woah woah woah! Hold the phone. I tried to watch Lost...I didn't get very far at all. Sorry to disappoint you there.
2. Hmm...I didn't like the Kuran very well.
3. I have seen quite a few bad movies. I saw Watchmen the other day and I am adding that to my list.....what a horrible movie!
4. Worst anime....let's see....I don't think I have one. I am very pecular about what I watch.
5. I don't watch alot of TV series.....I guess I would have to say South Park because of its filth.
6. Hmmm...I like Spike. He is a hard-core kind of dude. Vicious is also one of my top picks....I like villains though.

Yeah, Watchmen is a hard movie to watch. I liked it though.
1. If you ever get married, what song do you want played?
2. INto any sports?
3. What mythological creature would you want for a pet? (Yeah I stole yours)
4. Have you watched Serial Experiments Lain?
5. Do you agree that Spike died at the end of Cowboy Bebop?
6. What're your favorite anime theme songs?
7. I take it you don't like the Simpsons, right? (It has toned down over the years, but there was a time when it rivaled South Park)
8. What do you think of Mark Twain?

1. I will set it straight now to say I probably will never get married. I have been around the block a time or two and the man I'd fall for would have to be a romantic, humorous saint (with a nice body preferably). But...in the unlikely chance that I did get married...I'd have a certain lineup of songs...including Unchained Melody, Faithfully, and Move It.
2. The only sport that I really care for is competitive drum and bugle corps.
3. Umm....as clique as it is...I'd want a dragon. I would not have to worry about money for my commute and if anyone made me angry I could always have them burnt to a crisp. :)
4. Cannot say I have.
5. Yes actually. The vendetta with Vicious had ended and Julia was already dead. Spike deserved peace and resolution.
6. Wow....there are so many. I learn to like any theme from the anime I watch.
7. Ehhh...I see the Simpsons as rather childish. If I am going to watch something along those lines, I'll occasionally watch Family Guy. It's not a big thing of mine.
8. Ah....Samuel Clemens. His work is not my absolute favorite, but I am a fan. He has a unique writing style that can be understood on a basic level. Furthermore, he can really shape a character. I like him, needless to say.

2. Strangest movie you ever watched?
3. Strangest anime you ever watched?
4. Ever watch any Stanley Kubrick movies?

1. Journey.......
2. Hmmm.....I'm not sure at the moment.
3. FLCL....that anime made no sense whatsoever.
4. o_O I cannot say. I am not good with movie producers...so I honestly don't know. I know movies usually based on who did the music.

Stanley Kubrick was one of the best directors in Hollywood. Among his movies include Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, 2001, and Artificial Intelligence(with a little help from Steven Spielburg.)
1. What's your favorite Journey song?
2. What did you think of Steve Perry's solo career?
3. Have you ever listened to Peter Gabriel?
4. Favorite J-pop artists?
5. What did you think of the Spider-man movies?
6. Did you watch Twilight Zone at all?

1. I have quite a few. I introduced a group of my younger friends to the group a few months ago. Now, they have me in a youtube video with them and many memorable bus rides I helped with singing "Don't Stop Belivin". I like "Who's Cryin Now"; "Separate Ways" is my current ringtone.
2. I lost track of Perry when he left the group...it just wasn't the same.
3. Cannot say that I have....
4. I dunno....whatever sounds good. I like to go on Itunes to find good j-pop music from animes.
5. Loved the first one (I had a big crush on Toby for awhile), second one was okay, and I have never made it all the way through the third one.
6. I LOVE Twilight Zone! Best sci-fi series ever! The remakes they did in the 80's are awful though.

1. Can you send me a pm with that youtube video? I'm curious to know what you look like. (no, I'm not stalking)
2. Ever sing lyrics wrong?
3. Ever read Calvin and Hobbes?
4. Ever read Far Side?
5. Have you seen Coraline?
6. Tim Burton has directed a lot of movies, including Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorshands, Mars Attacks, Ed Wood, and Big Fish. Got any favorites of those?

1. Uh....not right now. I look alot different now than I did then...I was heavier...had long hair....that was not fushia. (I had an accident when I colored my hair...I feel like "Beauty School Dropout" material. lol)
2. Hmm...I make sure I sing in the same key for one...but on occasion I mess up on the words. I only sing when I am cleaning or in the car and NO ONE must be around. lol. I am, however, a notorious whistler.
3. Some. The last person I dated was a big fan of the comic strip, so that's how I was introduced.
4. o_O I don't remember if I have or not. Sorry.
5. Saw it last week. I was disappointed...it was not as up to par as I believed it would be.
6. Not really. I love Tim though. Some of my favorites are Corpse Bride and Beetlejuice. Burton is great because he uses Depp (who is beautiful) and Elfman (because he can write a score).

2. Did you play with My Little Pony as a child?
3. Did you ever listen to Oingo Boingo (Elfman's rock band before he started movie music)?
4. Did you ever watch She-ra as a child?
5. What do you think of disco?

1. Hahaha! That would be something.....I'm sure. I would try to cast different people to show the stages of my life. I would want a fresh face to play me, I know that. If I could be casted as an extra I would be happy.
2. Nope. For a time in my childhood there was not a lot of money for such things. My father was never good with his investments and made sure he had his big boy toys to the point he drag raced for a few years. I was given a stuffed lion when I was little and that was about the only thing I played with. It took it everywhere.....
3. Cannot say that I have.

"To be a good listener, you must acquire a musical culture...you must be familiar with the history and development of music, you must listen...to receive music you have to open your ears and wait for the music, you must believe that it is something you need ...to listen is an effort, and just to hear has no merit. A duck hears also." - Igor Stravinsky
