welcome to the CAA.

I dig that CD...........I need to buy actual good music, too.

Still, I like that CD. I mean, it's catchy and fun. It has some really good songs on it. It isn't as good as From Under the Cork Tree but it's so much better than their older stuff.

I didn't buy these, but there's no thread for Last C. d. your boss gave you for pwning all your co-workers at product knowledge. Okay, I only actually got one question right, but she only asked one, so it was enough.

Last CD’s I acquired:
The Afters -never going back to ok
LEELAND -OPPOSITE WAY
I don't know what broke to make you like this, but I must be broken too if I'm standing here praising your destructiveness. -Rock (Black Lagoon)

As I had encountered kindness, I wanted to be kind myself. -Takashi Natsume (Natsume's Book of Friends)

Verdi: Aida, conducted by Zubin Mehta
"To be a good listener, you must acquire a musical culture...you must be familiar with the history and development of music, you must listen...to receive music you have to open your ears and wait for the music, you must believe that it is something you need ...to listen is an effort, and just to hear has no merit. Showbread- Anorexia (x2, for birthday gifts)

Panic! At the Disco- A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (I had no idea that this band was once good. The latest album makes them seem so generic)

See, I disagree entirely about Panic!. I can't stand A Fever You Can't Sweat Out but I adore Pretty. Odd. Their latest album is just about the opposite of generic. 0.o It sounds like 60s rock and roll. Different strokes, though.

Both Panic albums are awful and unoriginal.
Pretty Odd just seems more original because most bands tend to not sound like that anymore.
Its just an awful attempt to ressurect the old school Beatles sound.

Here's an idea: Listen to the Beatles and just stay away from their first album in general.

That's my opinion as loathed as it will become. =]

J.S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion performed by John Elliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir and J.S. Bach's Cello Sonatas performed by Mstislav Rostropovich.
