Darth Vader, but not so much Anakin from the new movies.
C-3PO and R2D2
Luke Skywalker
Han Solo
Obi-Wan Kenobi (old & new movies)
Princess Leia

If the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games count, I would have to say HK-47. Only HK-47 could take a thinly masked desire for cruelty and mass murder and make it sound so cordial and polite. Whether one plays affiliated with the Light or Dark side, HK-47's wonton bloodlust makes things more lively with its dark and strange comic relief. Not content to merely be useful for gags, HK-47's dual roles as protocol and assassin droid makes him a very very useful robot where C-3PO proved mostly useless. He was certainly more useful than a lot of the other "meatbags" in my party.

For the original movies, it's probably Han.

For the expanded universe, it's Kyp Durron, for his swarthiness.

I'd say either Han or C-3PO, actually. Or maybe both of them interacting. XD I've also thought that Salacious Crumb was awesome since I was a little girl. So yeah. XD

I agree, except for the "usefulness" part. But maybe it's because he only uses blasters and blasters are so hopelessly underpowered in both games...

Oh snap, I forgot to mention Lando and Obi-Wan. Lando is awesome. I mean, he wears a cape, for crying out loud. Everybody knows that capes are a +20 to awesomeness.

But I don't like what they did to Obi-Wan in the new movies. He's really a non-entity, which is a freaking shame. I mean, yeah, he has radical ninja Jedi skillz, but that's about it. I prefer the old Obi-Wan.

Actually, blasters, especially double blasters, are incredibly powerful to those that know how to use them effectively. Equip HK-47 with one of the big burly special blasters and HK-47 rips up. This is doubly so when he is equipped with those robot flamethrower upgrades (which give a painful close-range attack against multiple targets that stuns the enemy for a couple of seconds) and other handy additions like regeneration. I usually found the optimum party configuration to be two jedi and one long range character to provide fire support for behind.

From the movies? Lando and Han!! From the EU I've always had a thing for Aayla Secura and Quinlan Vos.

1. HK-47. As previously mentioned, he is the most useful droid in the galaxy. And funny. Just don't stab him with a fork.

2. Yoda. What can I say? The guy is crazy with a lightsaber.

3. Grand Admiral Thrawn. I love genii, especially ones with red eyes.

4. Kyp Durron. Because he is wicked strong with the force and provides a good counter-balance to Luke's goody two shoes mentality.

5. Corran Horn. Despite being an old geezer by the time the New Jedi Order was established, he was still able to hold his own. Plus, his work with the police gave him a healthy amount of street smarts.

Hmm, Anakin, Padme (sp?), Han, and that one golden robot thing with the English accent. Wow, I can't believe I didn't catch his name after the numerous times of watching the entire thing.

I agree. Sir Alec Guinness > Ewan McGregor. Even though the latter is still a good actor, the former is the better Obi-Wan. XD

Also, Lando is awesome.
