Aw, but 20 years is pretty good for a cat. I can only hope my three will live at least that long in no pain. My mum is very attached to her cat, she is constantly saying that she hopes that when the time comes she loves him enough to do whats best for him. There is always something you can do, pray. I'll be praying for you all.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

i'm remember when our doggy died from heatstroke.... *snif* when it comes to your parents, you can't make them agree or get along, but ( I know from experience) always share your feelings with them, if they hurt you because of their differences, let em know, sometimes, you get lost in emotion and forget consequences, many prayers

You and your family must be hurting terribly over your loss. It hurts even more when other people make cold, inconsiderate comments just because the loved one wasn't human, like you're not supposed to care. My baby Tiger is like a son to me, and I honestly don't think I could handle losing him. You'll be in my prayers and are welcome to ask if there's something I can send or do to help.

I'll pray for you, I know how it is to loose a pet after having one for a long time.

I'll remember you and your mom. That's a beautiful picture, by the way, and it just goes to show that maybe our pets are indeed our guardian angels.
